Didn't have breakfast with my booking. Room was clean and tidy. Only thing is that the only English channels on TV were news.

Great hotel, located in a safe area, even at night, there is a restaurant on site and many restaurants bars around the corner. One can reach the main street, the market, Vassi boulevard by foot from there. Very well priced compared to other hotels in the area. Staff is welcoming and professional.

I had the luxury of spending 6 nights in Budapest and was happy to have stayed on the Buda side at this hotel for a few nights for easy access to the castle, etc. Really charming hotel and lovely, helpful staff. Rooms were clean, nicely laid out, and spacious enough, The hotel was within easy walking distance of a shopping mall and the trams as well as the castle. I even walked to the Citadel from there one day (definitely worth visiting). The #16/#16A buses are right down the street, as is the #5. Between the buses and the trams and the BudapestGo app, it was ridiculously easy and convenient to get around both the Castle district and the Pest side. (I'm someone who enjoys walking and typically eschews public transport in new cities, but the recent heat made public transport essential, and I was really impressed with the reliability of the app and frequency of options.) The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because there were a few things in the room that were broken (e.g., shower spray head not working, kettle lever needing to be held down in order to boil water) that I felt should have been discovered during routine inspections. For sure had I mentioned it earlier during my stay they would have fixed it (like they did the shower head for my friend's room) but I didn't want to be bothered and it was fine.

We had a great stay. The staff were very welcome and very helpful. It was very well located. It is an older building which adds to the character of the place. The air con worked very well during a heat wave. If blinds were left closed during the day, you just need air con in the evening and not all night.

Good breakfast and clean room

The hotel room was quite small, but the location was excellent and very convenient. The area around the hotel is lively, with plenty of shops, restaurants, cafés, and places to eat within walking distance. It took only about 7–8 minutes to walk from the hotel to the 100E Airport Express bus stop near Deák Ferenc Square. The airport bus runs approximately every 15 minutes, and at the bus stop showing the timetable and the arrival time of the next bus. You can buy your ticket directly on the bus, and a one-way ticket costs about £6 (or the local equivalent). The journey between the airport and the city center takes around 40 minutes, depending on traffic. One of the best things about this hotel was the complimentary refreshments. Every day from 2:00 p.m. until around 9:00–10:00 p.m., guests could enjoy free soft drinks, cold water, coffee, fresh fruit, and pastries. This was a wonderful extra that made the stay even more enjoyable. Although the room was small, the excellent location, easy airport access, and thoughtful complimentary snacks and drinks made this hotel a great value overall. Another nice touch was the comfortable lounge area on the ground floor. If you have some time before heading to the airport and don’t want to go out in the heat, you can simply relax there, enjoy a complimentary cup of coffee, have some fresh fruit or pastries, and wait comfortably until it’s time to leave. It was a very convenient and thoughtful space for guests.
