There are two EQH Casino & Hotels in Tacoma, and we stayed at this one in FIFE. The other one is brand new, but this one is decent (and cheaper rates). The check in staff were super friendly and helpful. There’s security at every entrance to the establishment with full ID checks. Free parking. Clean rooms with nice bathrooms. Plenty of slot machines and a “smoke free” gaming area as well. We enjoyed our stay here!

The check in guy was super nice and made me feel comfortable and welcome, I wish I got his name. The people at the door were cool and it was easier to get in than I thought with all the metal detectors I was worried about getting to the room with kids and having to go through the casino. The water was hot and the pressure was great. The beds aren’t anything to rave about but it was clean. The property is old but well maintained. No major complaints at all. Super quiet too.

We were in town for a concert. The room was clean and spacious, and the bed was comfortable. We could not smell any smoke from casino in the room. The pool and hot tub were well-maintained and inviting. The security is very good for the vehicles and the property. I would stay with them again front desk staff were great! Smelled so bad of cigarettes all over the hotel. I felt very unsafe there. Only one restaurant upstairs that was ok. I went there for a conference but I won’t ever stay there again. People have to have their ID checked and also walk through a scanner to enter the building but there was still very sketchy people there
