My first ever 1 star review! DO NOT STAY HERE! CAR BREAK INS! HORRIBLE customer service, lack of communication. Our car was broken into the first night we stayed here. We woke up early in the morning ready to make our drive a NP 3.5 hr offers red, come to find out vehicle window was shattered. Ours, along with 5 other vehicles were broken into that night (we walked around the parking lot to see). We also were charged $8/night to park in this parking lot which obviously isn’t even monitored!!! We asked the extremely unhelpful & unfriendly woman working the front desk around 7:30am that morning for any surveillance footage due to our RENTAL being broken into last night, but she immediately blew us right off and said “well federal way is know to not be a good area” & was told they only have cameras facing the lobby. After going back to the hotels google and Expedia to read several reviews from the past couple of months, apparently this is a common occurrence. We left our phone #, never recieved a call. We spent 2.5 hours filing a police report (which has to be done online yourself) & repairing window ourselves, putting our entire day on hold. They kept telling us “Kathy” the manager was inspecting rooms- asking about 5x from 8 am until 5pm!!!! Finally, decided to go sit downstairs myself and keep an eye out on the front desk area to see when Kathy came & left the area, after about 15 min sitting there I stopped her myself. She offered no sort of comp for the in inconvenience.

Parking lot not secured.
Do not stay here!!! Please read other reviews. The hotel had 24 cars broken into in 3 days. It’s a small parking lot shared with another hotel, but there is absolutely no security. The police department says this happens weekly at this particular location. They installed a watch tower in the center of the parking lot with cameras and flashing blue/red lights, guess what, they’re fake cameras and do not record. And they charge you to park. Will not be staying anytime soon.

We didn’t get to stay since we didn’t call it the first night. We should’ve called. We booked for 2 nights but denied us the 2nd night and cancelled our room! We paid for 2 nights and didn’t get to stay there! We wanted a refund and called 1-800 number. Told us we should have called if we couldn’t make it the first night. Then again, we PAID for 2 nights ! Our friends told us not to book any more trips thru Expedia. No more 3rd party booking. Expedia was great to us until now.

Property didnt clean rooms stayed 4 days three nights never came into our room once. We requested it 2x and they never ahowed up. We had no clean towels alot of garbage. Had ro get trash bags and pool towels. It was terrible

The rating is incorrect. It should be less than or equal to 7. The room smelled like cigaret , there was trash under the sofa and the bathroom fan did not work. The rooms do not get serviced and some towels had stains (lip stick). The pool area is not managed. There was a pizza party at the pool with rowdy people

The Hotel itself was great but the first night I stayed my car window was smashed and everything stolen. It is clearly a common problem there because the hotel has signs all over their parking lot that say they are not responsible. No cameras facing lot only the entrance. So it is a free for all. I highly recommend the hotel place cameras all over the parking lot. Most expensive stay ever! I am disappointed. I felt the hotel could have offered something as compensation.

The check-in went smoothly and the gentleman who checked us in was amiable. We felt very welcomed. It's a great hotel to stay for the night or several nights. We would stay here again no question.

We booked a king suite. William was hesitant to get off his phone and chair to ask for license and charge card. All the while watching his phone on the counter. No Hello, or water for the coffee maker, or time of breakfast, or inquiry about our vehicle. We went into the room surprised to see 2 queen beds. We walked out of the room and down to desk. We told him there was a problem. He asked us when we checked into hotel. He didn’t remember us from 5-10 minutes earlier. Told us the room assignment was not Hampton Inns fault and we had actually been upgraded. We told him we wanted a king bed. He said we had prepaid and we told him to look again because we hadn’t. He told us he’d put us in a regular king room for a lower price. This is the first time we have had a problem at any hotel. The next morning we aired our grievances with Sherry and she explained what happened with the room. She didn’t see where he had put us in another room. She was very gracious and we appreciate the time she spent with us. Breakfast and checking out were the best experience there. Oh and the bed, it was nicer than the bed in Bellevue.
