Ok so the RMS were not ready on time and this lead to a huge backup in getting checked in. There was only one lady at the front desk and there were lots of people because there was a concert. I feel like when they are booked up they need to maybe have two people also, if it is a shortage on cleaning staff I hope they are trying to hire. Anyway spending about and 1-1.5 hours is very inconvenient. Other than than the RM was clean bed was good and the lady that worked at the front desk was nice

Long wait for my room after check in time.
The room was very nice once we got in it. It took hours to get in it after check in as many rooms went cleaned yet by check in time. Because we booked through a third party, they said they couldn’t compensate us with any money back. Next time I won’t book through hotels.com and perhaps will stay somewhere else. Again, nice room though.

Our first stay at this chain. We were pleased. Friendly staff. Quiet and clean. Good breakfast. Had one soft chair; would have preferred two. Will probably come back.

The walls are incredibly thin and we were woken multiple times between 2 and 6 AM by our neighbors. We contacted the front desk but they did nothing. At 6 AM, they even played music next-door and again, the front desk staff did nothing. Worst night ever.

Overall the actual inside is exactly what you would expect from a Hampton. I only rated the staff down because I specifically asked to be away from the door/elevator and we were 2 doors down. The neighborhood however isn’t great. It’s fenced all the way around but it’s a small parking lot and just not a great neighborhood if you wanted to walk outside of hotel in my opinion.

A problem
Hotel was updated and clean. The electronic card worked, but not my door. The clerk apparently understood the door was an issue, but let me get settled in for the night before I had another potential serious issue with the door before offering to let me move rooms. She should have explained the situation and let me decide up front if I wanted that room. I was settled in with a dog for only one night and it was getting late, so I didn't change rooms, but it was a big problem again in the morning. Grab and go breakfast didn't have any options in it that I could go eat. I have stayed at much cheaper hotels lately that had a free basic hot breakfast. major disappointment in Hampton Inn. The hot and cold water in the room was backwards and mismarked. Last pet friendly at an extra $50 a night is outrageous. Most hotels charge $20. Mine is a service dog, so there was no charge in the end, but $50 wow.
