Chain is a very nice hotel, good bed, great bath and shower, fridge, etc and good breakfast and laundry facilities. It is virtually at the exit to the Dongmen subway stop (exit 8). Subway travel is very easy. It is a nice neighborhood. It a little quiet with few dining options, particularly nothing on Sunday night. Nice whiskey bar across the street.

Excellent value for price. Centrally located on the Res R line subway. Super friendly staff. Breakfast is phenomenal. Staff was so nice and even offered free umbrella rentals. Only one elevator but it was not an issue for us. Small rooms but clean and we loved it. Would stay here again

Unacceptable!
Due to the early arrival of my flight, I arrived at the hotel 8am on Oct 31 and had to wait for 7 hours to check in. There is no chair at the front and the staff did not offer me a chair in the small restaurant next door! For a senior and a world traveller like me, it’s was a very bad experience!!

Nice stay
Chaiin is centrally located by the metro and post office, stores and places to eat. In the other direction are the traditional morning fruit and vegetable stands and hole in the wall specialty shops. Breakfast is in a welcoming bright and open area. Foods are delicious and beautifully presented and staff is very welcoming. The stay was a very nice experience!

Hotel is conveniently located centrally. You can experience many local small shops and food galore. You are a 10-15 min walk from Daan patk. Awesome place to get a early morning walk, run or work out. 10 min walk from the famous Din Tai Fong soup dumplings. Hotel entrance is through the street alley and hotrl lobby starts on third floor. Hotel shares bulding with the post office and sits on top of Dongman MRT. Excellent to get around by subway. Bus stop is also a block away. Front desk staff are nice and helpful. Breakfast was good for a price. There is only one elevator and busy at times. Block away are 7-11 stores with excellent sandwiches and other things to eat. I choose to stay in a room with no window to save some money. Room is quite small but cozy. You have no closet or drawers. You have a small fridge and electric hot water kettle Bathroom was very nice with large walk in shower. Room, and especially bathroom, could use more lighting. The rooms are nice and quiet. Rooms are not cleaned daily, and fresh towels given upon request. My only complaints were mattess was too hard on my back, carpet needs replacing and older cleaning lady did not give preference to hotel guests to take elevator as she would take elevator first with her cleaning cart.
