Great location, clean and luxurious rooms, price is reasonable, staff was very nice and accommodation, and breakfast was good. The only issue I had was WiFi connectivity was weak in the lobby and sometimes in the room. The gym is quite small and lacks any power machines, at least a bar for pull ups or weight training. Altogether very good experience,

The stay was just ok. The air con broke for the entire hotel for about two days, which is a no-no in such a hot climate city. They informed us it will be fixed by night time, but it wasn't, so we were forced to sleep in 25c+ degree weather. Overall good location.

About 15 mins walk from the Metro. Note that Taipei has lights controlled pedestrian crossings everywhere so even if you're a fast walker you'll have to stop a lot The breakfast is good, the room is clean. Note that you can't flush toilet paper (my other hotel in Kaohsiung was the same), you must put it in the provided bin. This was my first experience with this and I was concerned about it, but in reality (a) it doesn't matter in practice and you get used to it very quickly (portable bidet or the shower to feel cleaner), and (b) it's actually true in a lot of places in Taiwan. In the early hours, the elevator from street level doesn't work. You'll need to walk up/down the stairs to the first level and then you can access an elevator from there. This sounds bad from an accessibility point of view, but to be honest Taiwan as a whole is pretty inaccessible due to steps between shops. It's like the entire country is a staircase.
