I paid extra for a room with a window, but it faces directly into a nearby building that’s currently under construction. The view is completely blocked, the room is very dark, and due to the noise and dust, opening the window isn’t really an option. While the bathroom is excellent and well-maintained, the room itself feels quite dated, and there are no USB ports by the bedside. Although the location is central, it’s about a 10-minute walk to the nearest subway station, not ideal after walking in Taipei all day.

The hotel is conveniently located at the intersection of two major streets. Bus stops are literally across the street, but the MRT (subway) station is a 5-minutes walk. Many dining choices nearby. Rooms are spacious, clean, and well equipped. Staff are courteous and always eager to help. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet tremendously. This is a hotel suitable for either business or pleasure travel.

Niiiice, very nice

Convenient location, very friendly staff Plus onsite restaurant opens for all three meals, needless to say there is also a laundry facility on the top floor, makes my top choice for my next time visit.

Self service hotel, more like an Airbnb with a front desk. No room service for food. One restaurant that does not do take out service. No bellman to help with luggage and no early check in. They only provided us with 3 towels, even though there were 5 guests. When we asked for more towels they gave us a hard time about why we needed so many. Lost a key card and questioned us really hard about it at check out. Would not stay here again.

Pros: Good location, good beds, pillows and linens, nice towels, good housekeeping. Can improve: Noise insulation (can hear other guests, and hear and feel doors of other rooms closing on floor and floor above), slow elevators (there really should be 3 elevators, not 2), key card integration when there are separate reservations for one continuous stay.
