The whole hotel is so dark. The environment looks depressed and dirty. They don’t provide many necessities under the name of “ eco-friendly”, like hot water for the sink, and drinking water. An international phone call of 10 minutes cost 70 u.s. dollars. Without any warnings to the customer how expensive.

Taipei PDC stay

We had an enjoyable stay at our hotel. The location was excellent (near mall and main station), breakfast buffet had a wide variety of choices, staff were courteous. It’s just that our room was not thoroughly cleaned, esp the bathroom. Overall, though, we’d highly recommend this hotel.

Being Executive Floors by paying additional fee was DEFINITELY worth it including amazing Breakfast Buffett, access to beautiful Executive Lounge that served meals. The location is so convenient being next to a shopping mall connected fo the Taipei Main Station.

Some of the receptionists aren’t friendly. I asked if I can request for a late check out but the guy receptionist said he cannot grant it due to high demand on the day we are leaving. So I went back the following day and found a different receptionist and this time she granted my late check out request. That guy looks stressed and was not even giving me an eye contact. Overall, the hotel is cery convenient to everything.

We booked 9 deluxe king rooms which is 391 square feet. But when we checked in, without any explanation or notification, they allocated 4 of the 9 rooms as 323 sq. ft. superior double rooms. The two types of rooms have different sizes and prices. After we realized it the next day and expressed our dissatisfaction with the hotel's downgrade, the hotel reluctantly let us change two rooms back to our original booked size rooms and said that no compensation could be provided. This is not the way a five star hotel treats its guests. If you are a foreign tourist, I suggest you don't choose this hotel.
