The hotel is located right across from the biggest park of the city and is only three minutes walking distance from the metro station, 5 minutes walk from the most famous restaurant Din-Tai-Fong, and is only 3 metro stops from Taipei 101 building. The room we stayed was very roomy, it has shower and bathtub w/jacuzzi. It also offer fruit and snacks everyday for free.

Daan Forest Park

I often stay in this hotel. It is clean, beautifully decorated (faux baroque paintings adorn the wall in the interiour courtyard visible from within the elevator), and conveniently located with views of the Daan Forest Park. The beds are firm and comfortable. The front desk service is excellent.

Not sure how clean everything was. The sheets smelled of a strong mens cologne and there were wads of hair in the bathroom. The location was superb.

The hotel is well located across from Daan park and steps away from the MRT. You can walk to many local restaurants nearby. The staff were ok- not overly friendly or helpful.

Very friendly staff, good amenities like free laundry use, fridge in room, microwave on site. Beautiful park with playground was right across the street which was helpful for my elderly parents to take walks and also my toddler to enjoy. Lots of good food nearby, 2 convenient stores, and very close to metro stop. Only inconvenience was hotel wifi was free but spotty on cell phones. Was good on my laptop computer.

Rido is so beautiful inside and outside. I felt like staying in an art gallery. It is s jewel in the most expensive area in Taipei but it is so affordable.

Very convenient locations (2 min from subway/MRT station). Staff are friendly and helpful ( arranging airport drop off service). Snack/Fruit/Drink are nice. The hotel is somewhat old and basic. But for the price, it is a good choice.

very well located, great view overlooking the part, and reception is very friendly. hotel follows government policy and does not offer disposable toiletries. This is totally fine and is clearly noted at booking, especially since It does offer bottled shower gel and shampoo. However, there is no bottled hand soap, which makes it quite inconvenient if not potentially unhygienic.

Location is excellent near the transit station, the Daan Park, some good reseturants. Shower and bath tub are great. Free snack in the room is a big plus.
