We love our stay and the room was clean and spacious with large beds. There are good breakfast eateries around the hotel and the hotel provides free snacks, drinks and one-time happy hour Thai food buffet. Highly recommended for those who don’t mind staying at one metro stop away from XMD metro. Hotel staff was great and helped to keep my parcel. Thanks for the enjoyable stay.

Taipei Garden Hotel was very clean, staff was very friendly, spoke English welll. Location was excellent….Short walk to Xiaonamen subway station which was very convenient.

It’s about an 8-10mins walk to the nearest metro, so quite accessible. It is an older hotel, but the rooms are comfy and clean, although the sound proofing not perfect. The breakfast buffet is decent, with lots of extras (ice cream bar was a hit with the kids). Free “happy hour buffet” and candy bar were nice touches. Good value

We originally booked for 3 nights only in case we don’t like it. We extended for another 2 nights. Hotel staff is excellent. Very accommodating and friendly and always helpful. I love the selection for breakfast. There is something for everyone. Easy access to public transportation as there are multiple bus stops very close to the hotel. There is also a huge supermarket within walking distance. I will definitely recommend this hotel.

Small five star hotel, 200 rooms with breakfast room. Not the tourist center location. A Carrefour across the street. Had three twin bed room. No sharing needed. Clean bathroom with a traditional soaking tub. You should try it if you are not familiar. L’Occitane supplies. Breakfast had many Asian servings, some unusual ones. Closest to Chang Kai Shek Memorial Hall. They recommend walking 15 minutes, but there is a heat wave in Taipei and by the time you reach there, you are sweaty etc. Take a cab to main entrance. The place is huge and lack shades. Decided to skip when we saw how much more walking in the intense sun needed. Snap photo from a distance. Priced for 4 star. This was a one night stopover from airport.

Clean, friendly, helpful staff. Decent breakfast buffet. Bathroom in the bedroom lacks some privacy (has glass walls) and the fitness centre didn't have working air con. The area was close enough to public transport, but not a place to hang around or eat out nearby.

We really enjoyed our stay at Taipei Garden Hotel. It has a perfect location with easy access to all transportation options to explore Taipei. Walkable distance to Ximending and subway stations. The hotel facilities are great, with friendly and professional staff, very nice, clean, spacious rooms to guarantee a comfortable stay. Will definitely book again if we have a chance to visit Taipei again.
