Review for WESTGATE Hotel, Taipei I recently stayed at WESTGATE Hotel in Taipei, and it was an outstanding experience that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the city. This hotel perfectly combines modern convenience, great service, and a prime location. Location The hotel’s location is unbeatable—it’s right next to the Ximen MRT station in the heart of Ximending, one of Taipei’s most vibrant and bustling areas. From the hotel, it’s just a short walk to countless shops, restaurants, and street food stalls. The MRT access makes exploring the rest of Taipei incredibly convenient. Rooms The rooms are sleek, modern, and thoughtfully designed. Although not overly spacious, they make excellent use of space, with plenty of storage and a cozy ambiance. The bed was plush and comfortable, and the bathroom was well-equipped with high-quality toiletries. The attention to detail, like complimentary bottled water and a handy smartphone for guests, adds an extra layer of convenience. Service The service at WESTGATE Hotel is top-notch. This hotel is only a block away from Ximending rainbow road and walking district. It's also right next to the MTR station. The location is just perfect. You don't feel crowded when you step out of the hotel, and yet all the actions are just around the corner. The hotel staffs are super nice, the room is in top conditions, and the breakfasts are good. We would definitely stay here again.

Easy transportation to get around via mrt or bus. Hotel helped keep our bags for us as we had an overnight to jiufen. Nice area to walk around and explore, shop, and people watch.

Clean, convenient location right in Ximen area. Staffs are very friendly & professional. The room (310) was ok. Good space for a solo. Had complimentary bottled water and soda. It got a bit noisy early in the morning around 6am with doors opening / closing. Farther away from Taipei101 area but it’s only $10 uber away. Overall, very nice and I would definitely come back.
