We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Westgate Hotel in Ximending, Taipei. The location is unbeatable—just steps from the MRT/subway station, surrounded by endless dining options, massage parlours, and within easy walking distance to everything in Ximending. We booked the Executive Suite since we were traveling with four large suitcases, and the room was adequately spacious, clean, and comfortable. The standout, however, was the exceptional service—from the warm welcome at the front desk to the attentive staff in the restaurant, everyone was polite, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. Our room included daily complimentary breakfast, offering a great selection of both Western and local dishes. The food was fresh, delicious, and well-presented—though it can get crowded at peak times. Overall, Westgate Hotel exceeded our expectations, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again on our next visit to Taipei. Highly recommended for both location and hospitality.

The location is perfect, just few mins from Metro station and have lots of shops, restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The service is excellent. Our check in process was quick and efficient. Rafa at the Lobby was super nice, makes us feel like home. The breakfast provided was very nice too with great varierty. My aunt was very impressed. Highly recommended to everyone.

Excellent as always

My second time staying at Westgate and as usual location is the best anyone can ask for. Service is immaculate. Rooms are comfortable and the water pressure in the shower is very good. Breakfast is very ordinary nothing special. Price can be a little steep but it’s worth it for the convenience and service.

This is my 2nd time staying in this property. I love the location and the amenities around the hotel. Great choice if you are visiting Taipei for the 1st time. Train station is just 3 mins walk to the hotel. Lots of local Food around the hotel
