The positives- The property and room were very clean and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Check in was super easy and the hotel is very easily found from the interstate. The beds were comfortable and the price point for the room overall is definitely better than others for busy times, such as college student move in weeks.
Now the negatives- The area around the hotel is a little sketchy. To get to the hotel, you have to drive through the parking lot of a motel that has seen better days. As a woman with her daughter, I didn’t feel the safest in that area.
When we arrived, the door to our room was propped open. Apparently, it was left open by the cleaning crew but again, didn’t make me feel warm and fuzzy. Our room had no towels. Not one. The front desk very quickly provided some but still, it was an inconvenience. The pillows were incredibly small, they look like couch throw pillows. And the biggest negative was that not a single outlet in the bathroom worked. I tried resetting, plugging in different things but nothing worked. The coffee maker was in the bathroom so if we wanted coffee, we would have had to move it. And we had to use the hair dryer in an outlet by one of the beds.
Overall- The staff really were very pleasant to interact with and the hotel was clean. If you are on a budget and need something less pricey, it’s not bad but I will pay more for less inconvenience.
