My only issue with this property is two things one online it said pet friendly but when we went to check in, it was only dog friendly. I have two cats. It did not state on the hotels information that it was only dog friendly. We were limited and tired from travel Due to evacuating for the hurricane. The other is this hotel is down in a hole and the parking is somewhat limited.

We have been staying at this location on and off for over a year and it seems to be going down. When you enter room now they seem to smell like mold. But overall it’s clean. They had a leak in the hallway when you enter from the back, but when they replaced the flooring it smells really bad of mold.

Nice staff and the breakfast was good. The room was not the cleanest unfortunately. There were hairs all over the bathroom and as soon as I sat down at the desk in my room to study I got two mosquito bites and ended up having to track it down to kill it so I could get my work done and sleep somewhat comfortably. Also, the hotel starting smelling like marijauna and the staff had to go room to room after 9pm to find where the smell was coming from. Overall not the best experience.

I booked this hotel to get evacuate from a hurricane. Hotel is on the small side. There were lots of kids running around, up and down hallways, which was great at 6:00am. Room wasn't ready when I checked in so I got 2 free drinks for the bar, which was nice. The room was a non-smoking room but it reeked of cigarettes. Our door wouldn't lock but maintenance fixed it for us. The power went out around 1am and didn't come back on until we left the next morning. I could hear everything from the room above us.

Storm Evacuation
The front desk staff was extremely busy with evacuees and were very patient and helpful. The lobby was very nice and had ample seating. Our room on the first floor was large enough (king, non smoking) and the bathroom was nice. The problem was there was an odor of cleaning fluids and everything was damp and smelled musty. There was mold on the window curtains and the bedding felt damp. The front desk gave me a damp rid hanging envelope which tells me they had previous complaints. This hotel sat vacant for years and was renovated so the problem stems from that.

Hurricane Evacuation stay
We evacuated from Hurricane Helene. The exterior of the building and lobby were very nice. This hotel sat vacant for years and was just refurbished and reopened in the last few years. The front desk team were more than helpful and accommodating especially with a packed hotel of evacuees. The breakfast was fine.

One of the worst hotel I stayed at in Tallahassee please don’t stay there and please waste your money they charged me 700 dollars a night for parents weekend I’ll be ok with that if the hotel worth it but NO. The room was full of cat and dog hair we are super allergic and they never told us that until I found out from my socks and suitcase full of hair. The AC was not working we were sweating all night, too noisy , smells bad and NO parking spots available if you come after 10pm. DONT STAY THERE!!!! RUN

Nice hotel. They didn’t have housekeeping during the stay, however, when we asked, they provided new toiletries and gave us additional towels upon our return from our outing. Overall, had a great stay.

What A Dump
Do yourself a bigggg favor and sleep in your car. Not sure how, but people actually rate this as a five star stay. Moldy, smelly, dirty, breakfast from powdered everything. Had to put the coffee pods in the AC just to help with the cigarette and mold smell. There for FSU, so everything else was sold out. DO NOT STAY HERE!!
