Clean, modern, but short on typical amenities -- no TV, no fridge, no safe, no closet, limited housekeeping. There are TVs in shared areas, and a kitchen with big shared fridge, microwave, and kettles, which is pretty good. But someone stole food from me once from the shared fridge and went through my thoroughly tied bag another time. It would be easy to install a camera watching the fridge and a sign announcing this to prevent this or at least catch the people who do this. (It would be better to put fridges in the rooms or at least provide fridge rental.) The laundry facilities are good but expensive at 10 € for a medium load wash AND ANOTHER 10 € for 40 minutes of drying time.
A good value if you understand the limits and a pleasant place to stay, and the location between Old Town and the ferry terminal is excellent, but it's about a 5-minute walk to Rottermann, where there a wide variety of restaurants and shops; it's about 10 minutes to the Viru Gate into Old Town or the Viru Keskus shopping center.
There's outdoor parking fairly nearby for 6 € a day, or very convenient parking underneath the bidding with elevator access to the hotel for 10 € a day. This is a nice plus.
I would prefer if Expedia listings included relevant information about amenities instead of it being a surprise when you arrive. All of the rooms have some sort of windows in the hotel, but I have several times rented rooms in other hotels without windows with no notice of that in the Expedia listing.
