From USA. Enjoyed stay here. Staff was awesome especially bartender Daniel. Breakfast was included and very practical. Room was clean. A few insects here and there but thats to be expected. Quiet and safe feel. Open mic at bar on Wednesday was fun!

It was a pleasant stay nothing to complain very walkable to the center of tamarindo. I have to complain about the fact I went to the office three times one to book my transportation back to SJO airport and twice to confirm my transportation, I was told it was all confirmed and the day of checkout the driver never showed up and sent a new driver (thankfully got us on time to our flight 5hr drive) they acted like this was no problem and blew it off when it wasn't I was flying international and could be late and miss my flight. The people at the front desk never confirmed our transportation. So I would say make sure you get all the info and numbers and confirm yourself with the driver. Other than that it was very nice hotel.

We had a flooding situation in our room due to heavy rains…however I still give this place a 5! They moved us to a new room, refunded the first night, washed all our clothes for us that got wet and offered free breakfast during the rest of our stay. The staff was so helpful and kind and made an unfortunate weather situation so much better!

Would absolutely stay here again! Great Service, perfect small feel like you left town yet you are right in the middle of it. THE BEST in room Coffee as well. I loved the location, we did not drive at all for 3 days and did a lot. Easy 6 min walk to beach and less thatln that to MANY restaurants. Mini market right across street

We were very disappointed upon our arrival at the hotel. It was not like what had been described to us. The actual appearance did not match the pictures. Our room was swarming with mosquitoes and spiders. We killed about 10-15 before going to the front desk. Despite bringing this to the attention of the front desk, all we received was bug spray. Our room was not properly cleaned with hair all over the shower and stains and sand on the sheets. Additionally, there was a lack of hot water. When going to breakfast we saw bugs crawling all over the buffet, after ordering food it lead to us getting food poisoning. Our experiences with booking activities through the hotel were equally disappointing, with tours not living up to their descriptions and not booking the shuttle we paid for to take us back to the airport. The only positive aspect was the kindness of the staff. However, based on our overall experience, I would not recommend staying at this hotel.
