Exhaust fans don't work, could see daylight around A/C unit, no pressure in the shower, told no manager on site when i asked for a discount. fire alarm went off, breakfast is a joke, cold eggs if they have any. Ignorant staff at best. Staff called me at 11 am while i was driving and told me if i did not give them a credit card number right now they would not hold my registration.

The check-in at this location was quick, but afterward finding someone at the front desk again was a task in itself. Along the way to the room it was clear that there was some sort of renovation going on. I don't mind a mess for positive change, but aside from huge boxes filling up the hallways, I observed that the craftsmanship of whomever is completing the project was poor, creating the impression that this Days Inn was substandard quality. Upon entering the room, which appeared to have been already renovated, this impression was confirmed as floor tiles were cracked and uneven, leaving corners exposed that could catch toes in the middle of the night. The shower fixture was improperly installed, and warm water was difficult to obtain using the mixing valve knob. Additionally, while sleeping in a non-smoking room, there was a present, distinct odor of cigarette smoke that may have been remnant from a previous guest or perhaps seeped in from another room. The walls must be thin as we could hear the TVs of other guests along with their conversations late into the night and early morning hours. I recommend this property for a cheap stay if you are visiting for late night experiences or staying with dogs as this hotel is dog friendly and we did notice a number of guests that had them.

This was the worst hotel ever. No flush leaking toilet for several days, leak in living area under luggage, mold on window Sill, green pool, lack of concern with overall issues. Beware staying here!!!!

Upon arriving, the lobby smelled like mildew. I thought maybe water had come in from the recent hurricane. Was charged $240 for 2 nights and at check in, was told id be charged an additional $100 for "incidentals". To be refunded in 3-4 business days after stay. That should be noted on hotels.com so travelers know what to expect. Our room on the 2nd floor smelled just like the lobby. Luckily i travel with my Scentsy mini fan so i was able to tolerate sleeping in their. Speaking of sleeping, the bed was far from comfortable. I may as well have slept on the floor. I didn't bother eating the breakfast they served there. Quite honestly, i was scared to. Definitely do not recommend this hotel. I've stayed at nicer for cheaper.

The breakfast sausage and egg was always cold even though they just put it out. Room was clean. Toilet would intermittently not work but not sure if it was because of post hurricane issues or just the toilet. Pool area was nice and enjoyed the water. Staff always friendly.

Old outdated hotel in a bad area of town. My room view was an industrial roof top. My room door had a convention Residential deadbolt and no handle. I was told I had the best room available. They would not provide a receipt at check out and would not respond to emails.

When I arrived at the property I noticed a homeless encampment at the edge of the parking lot. There were huge shipping containers in the parking lot which blocked parking spaces closer to the building. I stayed on the 4th floor where there were large boxes stacked along the hallway. The carpet in the hallway had a musky smell. My room was clean which was the only highlight. Upon checkout I was told that the $100 room fee would not be charged to my credit card. When I checked my credit card several days later they had charged the $100 room fee to my credit card. I spoke to the desk clerk several days later and they said it would be removed. I checked my credit card again a few days later and the charge was still there. Based on this experience I will not be staying there again.

It appears the hotel is being remodeled, the hallway on the 3rd floor was half full with boxes. The individual air conditioning unit is very noisy with some type of vibration. The bathroom ventilation fan was also very nousy when in use.

Nice upgrades, but still more work is needed
The hotel is currently being upgraded. Our room had been upgraded, but they apparently haven't completed renovations. They a/c unit was so loud and noisy. It made a loud vibrating sound and so did the fan in the bathroom. The room did look nice though. Hot water was nonexistent as well. Lukewarm was the best we got. We were only there overnight so we toughed it out.
