The Holiday Inn was perfect for our stay! We were able to walk to Raymond James with ease. There were many places to eat around the area. The shuttle was a great perk and made it easy for us to get to the hotel and back to the airport at the end of our stay. Rooms were clean, new and had cold AC. The breakfast was also phenomenal, name another hotel that would have biscuits and gravy for breakfast! Lastly the wonderful staff, they were all very helpful, courteous and had wonderful recommendations for our stay. Could not recommend this Holiday Inn enough.

I like that it was in walking distant to the venue I was going to do. Also there was restaurants that I like open. Once I parked my vehicle I didn't get back in it until it was time for me to leave.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was exceptionally clean. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was the best we have had at a hotel. We got a handicapped accessible room and were very pleased with the shower. Overall a great experience and reasonably priced.

PROS: It's a very nice and modern new property. There is abundant shopping and services nearby. Parking is easy and spaces are plentiful. The staff are nice and helpful. The breakfast is very good. CONS: 1. While they advertise free parking and free breakfast, there's a hidden $5.00 per day "amenity fee". I consider that to be deceptive. 2. The walls are super thin. On one side of me I could hear someone's conversation even though they were talking in a mormal tone. On the other side of me I could hear talking and laughter and phone alerts. 3. The elevators are very slow. 4. Housekeeping is basic. They never wiped my vanity or emptied the ice bucket. They didn't consistently refresh the coffee and tea supply. It was just basic make the bed, empty trash, and new towels. 5. The TV is weird and confusing. Channels don't align with the channel guide. Many features such as YouTube don't work at all.

If your going on a cruise this is the best spot to stay overnight. Everything is within walking distance including night life. They offer free airport shuttle, and $10 per person ride to the cruise port.
