Time in Tampa

This trip was scheduled to mix work and play. Unfortunately, it was very noisy in the early morning which was not conducive for me as most of my work is conducted at night. The outlets in the bedside table were worn-out leaving me to alternate with my family member or charge my phones in the car. On the upside, housekeeping did a wonderful job ensuring we had enough supplies and did a great job overall. The front desk clerks were attentive and polite. The pool area was well kept and inviting.

The room was badly worn, carpets were dirty, room had bugs, got fly spray from reception, day 2 the flying black bugs still hadn't gone, so asked to swap rooms,to be told they're in most rooms. To top it off they over charged us. Not a happy customer.

Horrible hotel. Breakfast wasn’t too bad if you don’t mind being around a bunch of truckers prostitutes crack heads and migrants. Shower dirty. Heat released fumes. Mold in shower. Dirty bathroom.

Check in was easy and the front desk agent was nice & personable. About 2 hours after check in I received a call asking if everything was ok. We asked for a late check out and were given a noon check out. Area was quite right off the main road but close to downtown and to Moffitt. Wished the pool was heated for late afternoon swimming but in the day it would be fine when it’s in the 90s outside & the sun shining. Room was clean and had no odor. Bed and pillows are comfy. Nice it had a microwave & mini fridge. Will stay again when I have early Moffitt appointments. The hotel also has a deluxe breakfast to choose from.
