Substantially Below Average hotel with a very very scammy additional charge, just to park in their own hotels parking lot, which is clearly just an additional way to grab a bit of extra money out of your pocket in a completely disreputable manner. Traffic around this hotel is very dangerous, and the neighborhood itself also feels very unsafe. The night we stayed here, there was constant police activity in this area, as well as both in the hotels parking lot and in the hotel itself, which smelled strongly of weed, and was definitely not a great experience. While it was a convenient spot to stay for our Tampa cruise departure, it is definitely not an option that I would ever take again as the negatives of this property greatly outweighed any conveniences and/or benefits that its proximity to the port, and somewhat lower than average price provided. Breakfast provided was only fair, and nothing special either.

Pro: Great value for the price. The staffs are very friendly. The bed is very comfortable for this price. Con: Parking is extra charge. The facility is out of date. Vents don't work in the bathrooms.

Not a great area. Had to pay for parking which came as a surprise. The room was clean but there was a bad smell in the lobby overlaid with disinfectant and the elevator smelled awful. Breakfast was not good, coffee was undrinkable. At least it was not overly expensive and the location was convenient.

You get what you pay for with this hotel. It’s clean enough and no frills. Originally we booked this hotel because of the presence of electric chargers. Upon check in we asked the front desk the cost of charging. The person replied everything was included in the parking fee. So we charged the car and went straight to rest. Only to wake up to the fact that the charging is slow, and costs MORE than the peak time of charging at fast chargers.

It was an okay place, I saw it was highly rated and read the other reviews and thought it would be a good value stay for a quick change of plan occasion. It was fine but the elevator was not working properly, so stairs it is- no biggie I could use the exercise. No washcloths in the bathroom, kinda of aggravating. When the recent renovation was completed, they should have included new shower heads. The breakfast that other reviews raved about was just the same old continental breakfast that practically every hotel offers. It wasn’t a bad experience but it wasn’t a 9.2 either. Oh yeah they charged my card 7.42 for parking, which is ridiculous being that there is nothing sharing their lot or really anything else around to speak of. The only reason to park in that lot is to stay in that hotel.
