The bed was way to firm it made both of our hips and backs hurt. The pillows smelled and needed were uncomfortable. The room smelled of cigarettes' and I found it under the bathroom sink next to the clean towels. This is supposed to be a smoke free hotel, which is why a rented the room. I wouldn't stay here again for the price that I paid.

Look elsewhere, unless they renovate.
Service was good, but the rooms and some common areas were worn badly. The room's AC wasn't working upon arrival and the carpet looked decades old. We were surprised at how there were few amenities in the room. At least the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean, and the location was great (scenic, walk to cafes/restaurants). We won't stay here again unless Westin invests the money to refresh this hotel.

They dont tell you about the parking charge up front and have service fees that they add on when you arrive and then give you a $25 coupon for it so you have to go to there resturaunt to use it. And multiple times I asked for shampoo and soap and both nights never got it

Very friendly front desk staff. Cesar provided a great experience. Blue Harbor bar staff were also great, very welcoming which added to the great stay. The hotel itself can use a facelift, the elevators had tears in the paneling and the bathroom in the room although very clean showed its age. Bed and pillows were very comfortable and view of the bay was lovely.

Ok, but didn’t live up to expectations
The hotel was ok, but did not met expectations. It is clearly older and need of updating. But we followed this stay with a much cheaper hotel and it was so much better. It’s seems the Westin is old school and thinks the price is justified because it is a big hotel with amenities. Overall, it was ok, but was kind of a left down. - showers were tub based and old - wall cracks - not dog friendly, thought it is supposed to be. Walking the dog was far away down an unlit path. Very strange. The staff was nice (except one person at check in who seemed to think the conversation with another employee was more important). housekeeping was very nice.

I rarely complain. There was so much wrong with this stay. There were items that might have been beyond their control because of the hurricane (the reason we were staying there). The elevators did not work the first day and we had to use the frieght elevators, except only one of them was working so the wait was very long, and you cannot take the frieght elevator to the ground floor without an employee in the elevator authorizing it. The service was horrible. We had no shampoo in the pump bottle shampoo dispenser. Initally thought it was because of how busy they were. The next day when they cleaned our room, there was still no shampoo. I found a member of housekeeping in the hall and told them. They gave me a bottle. I had to figure out how to remove the old one & install it. We ate in the hotel bar 3 nights. The service was SLOW. The first night it was fairly busy, so we excused it. The next night there were 7 people in there when we arrived and three staff tending bar & waiting tables. We were immediately acknowledged as we entered the restaurant area, then it was 6 minutes before the same person that acknowledged us came to our table w/menus. It was a long time after getting menus all 3 nights before someone came to take our order. One 2 occasions it took a long time to pay. On the night there was virtually no one in the bar, when she brought our check, I said here's my card & put it on the check and she said ok & walked away & cleaned some tables before taking it.

Check in was a nightmare. No help with baggage. Valet only cared about tips and not helping guests. I heard I'm sorry but no one is around too help. Why can't you help? Dining at restaurant bar was awful. Service slow and food had wilted lettuce and served drinks in plastic. Breakfast was laughable. $25 for a buffet of mass scrambled eggs and bacon. Are you kidding me? Absolutely unnaceptable.
