We came home for a family funeral and opted to stay at PIC to try to relax at the waterpark. We weren’t able to use the waterpark until check-in at 3; understandable. Our room was located in the Ocean B tower. It’s the furthest away so it is a bit of a walk to get to the elevators. We were in a rush to get to the room so we can get ready for a family event. The shower head did not turn on and there was no hot water. We were twisting every knob/lever we could find. We called front desk from hotel phone, no answer; called again and let the phone ring and they finally answered, they said they would call engineering. An hour later, we called again and no answer using the hotel phone. We called from our cell phone, immediately answered. The front desk tried to help us to turn on shower head but what she described, our shower head was different. We couldn’t wait for engineering after 30 minutes as we had to leave. No one contacted us. We showered using a cup. The beds were hard and definitely not upgraded. We will get park passes only next time if that’s an option but I will not pay for a room here again.
