Dont believe the bad reviews! Lovely little pub, friendly and efficient staff. Nice clean room with two pillows each and drink facilities! Of course its loud below, its a pub! Was perfect for the quick stop over we needed and a nicely cooked breakfasy in the morning too for a very reasonable price! Free tea and coffee included!

I was asked for ID at check in, I have never been asked for this ever. I have stopped in over 500 hotels in my time working away. It is not something I carry in the UK. The car park was full at check in, it was only 4PM. Was told they were all guests but at 10PM it was nearly empty. I only stop in hotels with parking so was very disappointed to find it full.

No parking available. Carpet filthy and stained. Mould in several places in bathroom and corridor. No wifi whatsoever even though it is advertised. Drunks shouting till 1AM then drunk woman screaming at 3.30 AM. Possibly staff member. Place was full of workmen obviously not caring about dirty work boots. Lack of wifi blamed on the brewery.

Nice Clean room staff very nice and friendly welcoming only things which could be improved on are the main carpets in corridors look a little tired but room was spotless and faultless. spot on and excellent value for money and no tea and coffee in room but they have made it free from bar downstairs. Id stay again without hesitation breakfast under £10 very good too
