My wife and I stayed in the Hotel Villa Paradisio for 4 nights and had a wonderful stay. We had junior suite with a balcony and a great view of Mount Etna and the sea. the hotel is high up and the view is great! I also liked the extra size in the room because we were on an extended trip and were able to easily store our luggage and clothes etc. The feel of the room is that you are in classic Italy. The breakfast buffet was excellent with great expresso drinks made to order- all with an incredible view. Perhaps the greatest feature of the hotel is the staff who really took care of us - including making local reservations, making sure our car arrived on time, having recommendations on what to see around Taormina. Giuseppe and the staff in the breakfast area were a delight. I felt like we were staying with family in Italy - that's how great the staff was.

Loved the stay

Lovely Hotel with a great charms in the heart of Taormina. Rooms are very comfortable and luxurious. The breakfast is served with a great view, and superb service at the 6th floor, overlooking the entire bay and mount Etna.

Villa Paradiso was even better than I had hoped. The view was spectacular and located close to everywhere we wanted to go. More importantly, the hotel was very clean, staff was wonderful and the breakfast every morning was beyond compare. We also enjoyed cocktails and snacks every night at the rooftop bar Settimo Cielo. When visiting Taormina again, we will only stay at Villa Paradiso!

What a wonderful gem of a small hotel! From the moment we arrived the warmth of the staff was apparent. Beginning with our greeting upon arrival to being walked to the door upon leaving the hotel, we were assured we were well taken care of. That’s not even the best part: the location. Centrally located in the old town and with views that will make your jaw drop the second you open up the curtains. Do book a room with a view of Mt Etna.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is excellent, not to mention the great views. Problem is the room, uncomfortable and noisy. It is also very hard to get to the hotel, given the traffic and parking restrictions. Taormina is challenging, given its geography and the crowds. It is a place to visit once and not coming back.

Hotel Villa Paradiso provided us with the perfect place to stay and explore Taormina. The room was spotlessly clean and bright with incredible views of the Ancient Theater of Taormina, the coastline, Mt. Etna, and the Taormina Castle. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was fantastic. We loved the luxurious breakfast on the rooftop every morning with great city views and impeccable service. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Many of the staff members have been there for decades and it shows -- the entire operation ran smoothly and we received excellent service at every point. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Taormina!

The stay was very good. Breakfast was bountiful. The upstairs terrace is a terrific vantage point and drinks in the afternoon/evening are delightful. Oddly, the terrace was not staffed on one of our two days at the hotel which was disappointing.
