Lovely historic property in ideal Taos location. We would definitely go back. Only two nitpicks: No breakfast offered on weekdays, so we had to go elsewhere to start our day. And room TV was ridiculously tiny!

A Northern New Mexico Classic

A nice classic old hotel in the center of Taos, directly adjacent to Kit Carson Park. It was the perfect choice for the concert I went to on Saturday night.

The staff was friendly and very accommodating. Our room, 111 was nicely appointed with comfortable, charming furniture and the bed was great for sleeping. Doc Martin, the restaurant next door was so delish that we ate there both nights. They had a band that played on Sat night that was really good and people danced between the tables. Fun atmosphere and since the band starts early, they are done by 9:00 so the hotel quiet’s down for the evening after late.

Price not consistent w quality of room

Stayed in the double room w lil adobe fireplace. Air conditioner blew directly on one of the beds. The rooms and furniture are very old and kinda icky, our bathroom was remodeled and wonderful except that no door on shower so water all over the floor.
