This is a great place to stay. Accommodation is first class, super quiet with only a 50 yard walk to a great tavern for meals. The golf course clubhouse is only 100 yards from the resort. Highly recommended!

We had been here before but not since it changed hands. Steps have been taken to restore the property to its former glory to good effect. The room was huge and it has a welcoming vibe. The staff are very helpful and we shall definitely return.

The property was fine. Errors by Expedia made booking in slow. We were charged more than Expedia booked us for, and the property eventually gave us a refund, claiming they had no rooms available at the Expedia rate.

Great place for a cosy night.
Lovely ambience to the room though difficult to book as couldn’t find receptionist. Lovely view from balcony. Warm and cosy large room with great spa bath. What was great was the lovely hotel included in setting with great meals and a log fire.

Large (very large!) and comfortable room. No microwave, though which was a shame, and no knives, forks or cutlery, other than teaspoons on the tea cups. Beautiful location on the river, with easy access to a paved walkway.
