If you are coming for elephants, you are going to be very happy! There are currently 24 elephants and the opportunities for interaction are excellent. If you are coming for the opportunity to experience the ultimate in luxury, you could be a little disappointed. But you will not be disappointed in the staff! So set your expectations for elephants, and enjoy your stay! The gardening is beautiful, but the air conditioning and dining could be a little bit stronger.

We absolutely loved staying at the Mason Elephant Sanctuary! Everything from the staff to the room to the activities were fantastic! The food was delicious in both the restaurant and the tree top cafe. We loved seeing the Elephants up close and having the opportunity to ride and feed them. The small museum was incredibly informative as well. We would recommend a trip here for sure!

The concept of Mason's is great, but I don't know if it's worth the stay. You can experience everything within one day. We stayed at the lodge for three days. Out of those three days, we stayed one day onsite and took part in the elephant safari and the washing of the elephants. The other days were spent off-site experiencing Bali/ Ubud. I had other friends in Bali around the same time who went to the zoo and could do more than we did at Mason's.

We had a beautiful spacious room with an oversized bathroom. Fresh fruit plate delivered to our room each morning. Cookies or other goodies delivered each evening. Elephant encounters were amazing.

I’ll absolutely be back at Mason elephant lodge. It was the kindest service we’ve ever had. The food is amazing, the spa is amazing, and the elephants are so so happy! If you’re worried, google elephant body language. They are reproducing as well, which is a huge sign they are healthy and happy. Their keepers have been with their elephant for decades. It’s an amazing place. I can’t wait to come back. Special shout out to Oka! He is a doll.

Very special place!

An all round amazing stay! All the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was FANTASTIC; comfy large bed, great size balcony and fruit plates!! We had an elephant directly outside our room but could see 5 in the mornings. The park itself is beyond words; the elephant interactions are next level but the grounds a alaso beautiful, so many different plants and little hidden benches all through the park. Not sure wgat happened to the buffet breakfast as was advertised on the menu but we were told they only have buffet lunch.. ala carte menu was still great. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS MAGICAL EXPERIENCE IF YOU LOVE ELEPHANTS!!!

Beautiful facilities and grounds. The attention to detail in every corner of the rooms and resort is impeccable. The staff are so extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The food was prepared perfectly and everything we ate here over our 3 day stay was delicious. The information available at every stop along your walk through the park is so helpful and we learned so much about the amazing creatures that call this little slice of heaven, home.
