Wonderful stay and experience Well equipped gym and an amazing pool Wish we could have gotten an appointment to the spa. Couldn't get an appointment despite trying more than a month in advance

I stayed in Salzburg while traveling across Europe. I found Villa Carlton a very pleasant hotel. Conveniently located, within a 10 minute walk from the main train station, and within a 10 minute walk of main tourist attractions and busy/popular streets. We were not expecting any breakfast, but they gave complimentary biscuits and coffee which was very useful in getting our day started. I asked the front desk for assistance on several matters and they were always willing and able to help. Overall, I was very satisfied with the stay and would recommend the hotel to others.

I enjoyed the stay quite a bit, though I might disagree with the choice of some of the art. Every time I left or arrived to my room, it was with the image of a middle finger directed at me. Yes, art interpretation is in the eye of the beholder, but my interpretation left me with an unsavory impact. This is not how I would want to be remembered by a future repeat customer. However, there is much to commend here. The room was clean and maintained . Very quiet given the room overlooked a main traffic street that was very busy. The staff at the front desk was friendly and helpful with providing information. The kitchen staff was friendly and efficient, and though the breakfast bar was somewhat smaller than others, we were able to order delicious and fresh eggs and sausages with vegetables as well. Even though the housekeeping staff interaction was limited, their friendly faces and greetings were a nice part of the day. The uber pick drop off and pickup are only a few feet from the front door, and the Bahnhof is about 10-12 minutes away. Shopping is very convenient. The beauty and sites of Salzburg are as close as 100 yards to a mile walking distance and easy/relatively flat at a moderate to brisk pace if you are a moderately fit senior citizen. For those with mobility issues, definitely take the funicular to the fortress. Yes, I could stay here again without regret.

Breakfast and coffee were great. Staffs are friendly.

This hotel was absolutely amazing. From the moment you walk in, you feel at home. Your check in process is a conversation with

We had a great time staying at Krone 1512. It was a great location in the center of the shipping area. The room was great for 2 of us. We had a room that the window opened onto the shopping street- that was super fun to open and take in the sight. The hotel also offers free tea and coffee in the main dining area anytime of day. So you don’t have tea or coffee available in the room. This shopping area is not the old town that has Mozarts home and the castle- that’s a 10-15 minute walk. Which is totally doable. The parking was a bit of a walk from the hotel so just a heads up if you have lots of luggage. A restaurant suggestion we loved- Superstanza (italian) 4 minutes from the hotel.

The hotel is situated near the saltzburg train station and it was very close to local bus stops. As we stayed more than two nights, we also benefited from the guest mobility ticket and was able to use the Salzburg public transit for free. The staff were really helpful and our room was modern and clean.

Mohammed at the front desk made the arrival, check in and stay duration an most memorable and enjoyable experience. Mohammed through his efforts to make sure my stay went perfectly, is the primary reason I'll be choosing Hotel Stein for all of my upcoming business travel needs to Salzburg.
