Dirty and Not worth the money

Not at all worth the money paid for this. Fridge was dirty, sheets had fuzz and hair in them, makes the whole place feel unclean. Nice view is only from 1 of 5 buildings, be aware. The sofa bed was horrible, thin, springs poking, very noisy pull out bed (so bad it doesn’t qualify as a bed in my opinion). Would not recommend, and would not stay again.

Stay was paid for before arrival, no were did it say there was going to be a security hold and resort fees billed every day stayed, the room cleanliness was sub par. A one week stay with no extra toilet paper or extra garbage bags in the kitchen. I searched for the phone number for the island grill that was on the premises and could never find it. Grill closes at 8:45pm so plan ahead. Pool was nice but closes at 11. I had to physically talk to security every time I entered the property. Beach use was unable to happen due to the decomposing sea seed that had riddled the shore. Not to mention the smell from the sea weed was rancid

The condo was very comfortable, and the view from the balcony was beautiful. There is a restaurant /bar directly on the property which was nice for when we first arrived. The property is very accessible by car to restaurants and activities. The beach on the property was very underwhelming, very shallow and rocky. The pier was nice.

This was an amazing stay! Beautiful property and excellent location within minutes of great dining. The pool was beautiful. The beach was not usable, but the Keys are not known for having hreat beaches...rocky and full of seaweed.

Excellent hotel for a family of 4 with 2 teenagers. The rooms are big and very spacious. The whole apartment is clean and well stocked with basic needs. The pool is very large along with the jacuzzi. Its great that its open till 11pm, giving the guest to extra time to use it. I have very thoroughly checked hotels for out stay and Ocean Pointe Suites marked every box. We will defenitely going to return.

Great place to stay

Enjoyed our stay with friends and family at Ocean Pointe and look forward to returning. We occupied several 2 bedroom suites in different buildings and all the rooms were well appointed and seem freshly updated. Our 3 families all brought our boats and enjoyed use of the marina. The grounds were well kept and the pool was a great place to cool off at a long day. The location provided nearby boating opportunities for snorkeling, fishing and sandbar chilling.

VERY DISAPPOINTING

The room was terrible. Bathroom shower didn’t drain, spare room twin beds broken, floors were filthy…or feet were black after two hours of walking around the room/condo. They sent us text saying to text if we needed anything and I texted for more towels nothing ever came. The condo overall was in bad shape. I’ve been staying at Ocean Point Suites for over 15 years and have never stayed in a condo in such poor shape. Very disappointing.

The pictures of the property are misleading. The private beach and pier that looked so beautiful in the pics on Expedia looked like a swamp. No green or blue water it was brown and full of sea weed. No one was swimming in it. I should’ve taken pictures. If you’re going for the private beach you’re wasting time and money. That’s the main reason we booked Oceans Point. Room was decent and clean. Our ocean view we paid extra for was 200 yards away and was a partial view with bushes and shrubs from the hotel to the ocean. Expedia should have them update their pictures because it’s not what it appears to be.

Room smelled like dog and fish. I have a chest infection and on meds. We arrived and our room smelled like dog and fish. I am allergic to dogs which would make me situation worse. I explained to the front desk and Expedia. Neither cared or offered help. Also the room doesn't have a living room. The only place to sit and talk with a dinette in the kitchen area with two chairs. We cancelled second night and spent the entire day of our 2 day trip looking for a suitable place to stay the second day. Terrible business policy. Why wouldn't you want to help when staying there just made my respiratory problem worse.
