I have stayed here multiple times now and it's always great each and every time! Clean, comfortable rooms and a cozy feeling. Friendly staff, free breakfast, indoor pool and hot tub. The beach is very spacious, sunrises are beautiful to watch here. They even have picnic tables and fire pits out in the beach area. This is my go-to place for when I visit the Oscoda area!

We stayed 1 night with our 2 young ones for an unplanned stay in Oscoda. The beach is gorgeous and huge but that’s about all the property has to offer. If you don’t mind people drinking, smoking, peeing and littering in the parking lot at all hours of the day this may be your value spot in Oscoda. The 100+ blood droplet stains on the back patio near the swingset was also a nice touch. The rooms are extremely worn and outdated. The staff were decently polite but I would not recommend staying here to anybody with other options.

I took my 12yo daughter and two of her friends for two nights in the kitchenette room/suite. Nothing special about it but the kids had fun which was my goal. This place is good if you’re family may be on the loud side, we definitely were, sorry about that. The beach is clean and about 50+ yards away from the back of the hotel. The pool was decent, but jacuzzi looks like it may need to be repaired. Front desk guy was friendly. If the right opportunity comes about we’d stay again for the price. We didn’t try the breakfast.

Loved the location, beds were comfortable as well. The breakfast was terrible, breakfast room was dirty, cereal stale, toaster looked like it had not been cleaned ever. There was mold all over the ceiling and walls in the bathroom, the floors were very dirty and we had to wear shoes while we were in the room they were so gross. HOWEVER, the fridge was very cold and we loved the location. The beach just steps away was well worth the price and the very below par rooms.

This property is older , But it very quiet and laid back. Literally walk right out the pool to sand then water. Got couple of swings for the little kid's. Like 5 grills and 4 fire pits. I will be staying here again. Plus i only spend 221 for Thursday thru Sunday. Pool stays open longer for adults. But they need to fix the the jacuzzi. Pool room is air conditioner ..

The staff was great and room was clean! The beach was fantastic (even if it’s a bit of a long sandy walk). I’d absolutely stay here again! Downside, the hot tub was closed but left uncovered and looked absolutely disgusting with putrid grey water and debris floating in it - very disconcerting since it’s connected to the pool. But, I know those are a lot of work and break easily. Still should have a cover of some kind for if this happens. Gross.

Bed was terrible. AC did not work very well, and it was loud. The toilet would not flush all the way and would come close to overflowing onto floor. Bathroom fan rattled and was very loud.

Go for the beach, don’t expect more.

Wouldn’t stay here again. The proximity to the beach was the only plus for this property. It was not very clean and it is very outdated with an odd smell in the hallway. Our air conditioner would turn off every 20 min and stay off for another half hour. It woke us up in the middle of the night repeatedly. We told the staff about it and they said they would come look at it but never did. Overall this hotel is not great. The beach made it bearable.

The beach is absolutely beautiful! They are laid back and definitely affordable. They breakfast was not top notch and they don’t have a refrigerator for the cold stuff so the mill sits out on ice for hours. That was the only health hazard I noticed. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms are out dated. but served the purpose.

This place was awesome for the price!! Peaceful, spacious beach with fire pits & BBQ grills, & pet friendly! Very beautiful area in Oscoda! The beach was gorgeous & water was perfect & sandy no rocks or seaweed! The only complaints I have was that they need a groundskeeper or more help the garbage cans outside of the entrances & inside lobby & dumpster were overflowing everywhere, pizza boxes beer boxes etc on ground, we tried to use some as kindling for the bonfires just to help. Could use new curtains & carpet The pool & Jacuzzi were nice but needed some cleaning, they also could use more ashtrays around property to help eliminate some of the cigarette butts all over. Definitely would stay again thou great bang for the buck!!!

Our toilet wasn’t flushing properly, so we called the front desk three times and waited awake until 3am and no one helped because “maintenance only works during the week.” The day staff at the front desk had a snarky attitude and rolled his eyes at us when we asked to speak to the manager, then told us he was the supervisor and he couldn’t offer us anything except $20 off our stay (which was already $180 for one night). Breakfast was meh, mostly cold cereal and bagels & English muffins. The stay was not worth the price, especially with so many resorts in the area. Staff was unprofessional.
