Spent a lovely afternoon and night at The Ness.
The staff were friendly and welcoming the atmosphere was warm & cosy.
We spent the afternoon drinking beautiful wine, playing pub games and soaking up the open fire. Our room was beautifully decorated and a view of the sea.
In the evening we ate a fantastic meal and played more games while the weather was wild outside we enjoyed the comfort of the armchairs and fire.
Lovely stay. My room was so comfortable and the shower etc was lovely. Everything was really clean and the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. My only niggle was that the WiFi wasn’t working in my room and it was problematic as I was staying away for work. Otherwise great!!
A lovely pub that overlooked Teignmouth, staff very friendly & welcoming made to feel relaxed, shown to our room which was very comfortable clean & tidy and given advice for the surrounding area. Great stay
Its quite a way from things, but its a beautiful hotel with hay views if you're lucky enough to have a room facing the sea

1 night stay
Lovely 1 night stay , compact room but well equipped and nicely decorated , great bathroom with bath and separate shower, nice balcony , but not the best view
Amazing hotel, stay and staff. Only slight problems are that they have no electric chargers and breakfast only starts at 8am

Liked: Staff & service
Whole area looked a bit tired - room ok - small bathroom and shower, nice toiletries, breakfast average - overpriced at £12
I would say not worth spending what I did on this hotel - you can get more spending less money
Delighted by my one-night stay. I didn’t eat at the hotel but room was excellent — comfortable bed, awesome shower — and everything went smoothly. Good value too.

Nice, but wouldn't rush back
Got off to a poor start as the room booked was not provided, apparently I should have called prior to check although it was available to book on the website. This is not mentioned and I was not offered any compensation in regards to this (ie, maybe a breakfast since I hadn't paid for one?). Anyway, I will speak to the platform re this as I'm not happy about not having a room with the bath as I had booked. *Indulgent Plus with balcony * Hotel said they have to name 2 room types the same even though they have different amenities... odd. I specifically spent additional for the roll top bath inclusion but did not get it. Was already booked out!
Cons:
No decent coffee in room. No machine, only a kettle with instant sachets. Cheap toilet tissue, pillows like bricks, little 'deposit' in loo on my arrival....squeeky bed that could do with a topper.
Pros:
View, large room with balcony (though this is not private and shared with other rooms) quiet area, bottled water provided in room, good shower pressure and nice towels.
Overall: needs attention, lick of paint and some maintenance. Shower level fell off when switched from rainfall to handheld.
