Staff were okay, not great customer service just average. The young man was much more pleasant and friendly than the rest but they were not bad just average. The front desk was odd... and no one was there some of the times we stopped by. Property location seemed quiet but property was dated. There were huge stains in the hallway carpet and the rooms liked like a slight step up from motel six. But the price was good compared to other hotels near telluride so that was good. No breakfast available at all which was disappointing. Overall it was okay... not terrible but not great. Maybe I'd stay there again if I needed a cheap option and I couldn't find anything better in the area.

The property was very clean and welcoming. The front desk staff were always preoccupied. Disappointed that you had to subscribe to almost all of the TV programming. Since we had a two day stay, we had been looking forward to being ale to watch a program on Netflix, swim in a pool or work out.

The rooms were nice and clean. The renovation of the restaurant /bar area was very well done. However, I would recommend that an emergency line for the guests after the desk closes at 10pm and before it opens at 7am.

BEWARE

Beware of this hotel- do not stay here. We had a terrible experience and will never be back. We were checking in after hours and called multiple times to ensure that was possible and that we had the correct protocol. When we arrived to the hotel at 12:45am, our keys were not correctly activated and couldn’t access our room. No after hours/ emergency number for us to contact. Instead, we had to frantically call 20+ hotels in the area at 1am on fourth of July weekend to find a place to stay. Thankfully we found a room but it was almost double the price. On arrival back to the hotel in the morning, when asking for a refund (which should be the bare minimum) instead of the manager being apologetic, we were met with hostility, sarcasm and she insinuated it was our fault we couldn’t get in. We have only received a partial refund and have been ignored by the hotel 5 days later after calling everyday. We had multiple key issues after checking in, the rooms were dirty and the front desk was rarely staffed to get assistance. The only good thing about this hotel is the location, but you can certainly find better hotels for the price in the same area.

Love the location. Nice country small town feel. The hotel restaurant was a bit disorganized. Restaurant staff needed a bit of direction. Food was okay. Rooms were in great condition. Very clean and new. Needs snack and drink options for late night hours when the restaurant is already closed. Close proximity to town which was very quaint. Nice location. Would stay here again.

Disappointed - the hotel details were misleading!

False advertising. The description said that breakfast could be purchased. (One of the reasons we selected this hotel). They do not offer this on Mondays and Tuesdays. We were there on Monday, checking out Tuesday. This should have been specified in the hotel details. The carpet in the hallway had numerous large stains. One of the towels in the bathroom was dirty. It looked like it was used.

I do not recommend staying in this hotel. First and foremost, there is no elevator. When we were told we would need to carry our heavy bags up two flights of stairs, I asked for a room on the first floor. The room on the first floor included shower doors were off the track and they had no one who could come and fix them.
