Checked into my room at the front desk, it would have been nice if they had mentioned your room key turns the lights on in your room. Went out on my patio to enjoy the view and was subjected to LOUD rap music and a plethora of curse words used and the fragrance of pot from the room above me. (Yes I called the front desk and was advised they would "investigate). I went to the pool and was hoping for a relaxing time and there was subjected to a couple women and their husband/boyfriend who thought I needed to see their entire rear end in their bathing suits and have loud conversations about why they couldn't have sex because of the rash they got on a trip they took previously This conversation was filled with loud uses of F this and F that. No staff to help. They are too young to handle confrontation with these folks WILL NOT RETURN and WILL HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND

I enjoyed my stay at South Coast Winery Resort. The property is beautiful and most of the staff were very friendly. However, one of the front desk attendants was not very welcoming—despite the resort being fairly empty and my room already upgraded, she was abrupt and did not offer any further options. It would also be nice to have more towels available around the pool area. In the late afternoon, the pool phone service wasn’t working, so we weren’t able to request additional towels. We asked for a mid-day room refresh, which was done at an average level. That said, we enjoyed our time at the resort overall and would consider coming back in the future.

I would not recommend this property to anyone. Day one our door key card reader broke and the hotel door itself was so jammed we'd have to kick it in to open it after the door unlocked. We ended up leaving at 1am because the sheets were so itchy neither of us could sleep. I've had better experiences in a motel. For the price- not worth it.

Our stay at this hotel was amazing. While the check-in staff were just ok, everything else more than made up for it. The room was spacious and quiet, providing a perfect place to unwind. We had a great experience at the restaurant every time we visited, consistently good food and service. The pool area was incredibly relaxing, and even when it was busy, the staff remained attentive and accommodating. The spa was a highlight-absolutely fantastic. Overall. A wonderful stay in a great location. We’d definitely come back!

As much as I want to love this property, I can’t get past the rooms. We decided to go for the the king villa, and the interior of the room is extremely dated. So much so that it made me question the cleanliness. The room could have been clean but I never felt comfortable in my own skin there. Really upsetting. That being said, the grounds of the property are beautiful. We would have enjoyed eating at the restaurant, but honestly, once we woke up, we went off property because there were nicer places in the area. In the future, we would choose somewhere else. It’s a shame because the property is beautiful, the rooms though are a huge swing and miss
