Really great spot, staff was wonderful and the complimentary breakfast and dinners were great, the Onsen was nice and relaxing, make sure you bring cash if you want to explore town because none of the buses accept IC cards

The room was on the top floor overlooking the lake but the trees blocked most of the view. The size of the room was good and the bed was comfortable. Hotel Route Inn Aizuwakamatsu
Convenient location, easy parking, decent breakfast. Only complaint is the bed. It was like sleeping on a sheet of plywood. Way to hard with no padding. Pillow was also firm and seemed to be filled with a rice-like substance. Not comfortable.
