Never stay again

Horrible experience, worst in years. The hotel itself appeared to be fairly new. However.. room, and especially the bed smelled of dog. We specifically requested a dog free room and was told the third floor was....obviously not. Next, went to breakfast at 7:15am- coffee was empty, sausage and egg was gone....totally poor service. Could be a nice hotel, but need to hire better staff and keep dogs out of rooms if not totally cleaning and replacing all covers, bed spreads, and shampooing the floor.

Usually we stay at the Holiday Inn when in Terre Haute but they were booked up. So we stayed at the La Quinta for our first time. This was a trip for our little kids for spring break so they could enjoy the pool. However the room was dirty and when we first got into our room the bathroom smelt like sewage and the exhaust fan for the bathroom did not work. We ended up using perfume to help with the smell it was so gross. The breakfast was good then next morning. However after we checked out at 10am and headed home I got a notification from my bank that they tried charging my card $200 on top of the $50 deposit we already paid. Then tried charging $100. No information given from hotel why we would have these sort of charges. We definitely will not be back!

Easy check in. Very nice room with the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept on. Quiet. Spacious. Complimentary breakfast was plentiful. Everywhere was clean.
