Very Good

It is a bit out of the way (you would prob need to drive here which is prob why we thought it was mainly for coach tours) but for a large and well appointed hotel it was remarkably good value for the room itself (which was well appointed with lovely bathroom). We chose not to have breakfast or dinner here as that seemed expensive so made do with what we picked up earlier at a conbini on the way here :). There was a nice games area in the hotel basement and we played some table tennis there. It was a 2 minute walk to the lakeside at the back of the hotel and the view is stunning We were happy we stayed here.
The window view is marvellous and beautiful for those who love nature. The only down side is there were dead bugs stuck on the window exterior and it affected slightly on the viewing experience.
great view of lake kusharro from the picture window of the twin room. comfortable beds and a big sofa. restful onsen. professional staff. the hotel may be from the era of bubble glass lifts, but it has not lost its shine.

We had a nice stay. Beautiful lake. Onsen was perfect. A very quiet area with nothing around.

Hotel was pleasant and amenities are new but the buffet dinner was too pricey considering the quality of the food.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Good view over the lake, easy parking, and close to local attractions (with a car). Friendly helpful staff, but the hotel looks a bit tired, and the buffet and a la carte restaurants are average. It has a spa and hot spring baths, a small convenience shop, tourist shop, coin laundry, and games room.
It’s the only choose of a hotel in the area. Overpriced for what it is but ok overall. The buffer dinner is rather mediocre

Decent hotel right next to lake Kussharo
Hotel is located next to Lake Kussharo. This is the only large hotel in the neighbourhood hence do expect large group of tourists. This is not the hotel for those looking for peace and quiet stay. There is coin laundry on site which is helpful. There is absolutely no other nearby restaurant, convenient store or laundry facility so those who stay at the hotel will have to put up which whatever is available at the hotel.
We had very good time to stay 2 nights at this hotel, great indoor n outdoor bath, great lake view. Very friendly staffs, we arrived about 1:30 PM, and they had no problems to let us checked in early!
Hotel is big, clean and has very nice view of the lake. Only strange thing is that the onsen tax wasn't mentioned and 300 yen was collected, it is not a big amount but I don't understand why for the price we paid for one night, why this couldn't be mentioned upfront nor highlighted somewhere during the check in.

Rip-off buffet!
This hotel is in the middle of nowhere, far from any stores or restaurants. They seem to take full advantage of that by serving a very average dinner buffet at a very epensive price. The lakefront location isn't bad, but I can't really recommend staying here. Not worthy of the "Prince" brand.
