Staff lovely very polite but the actual hotel is very dated and dirty the food was awful spa ok but again dirty dated and £5 for a old tired robe shame coz this could be a beautiful place it’s in a beautiful location views amazing

Lovely hotel and helpful staff in reception and on the bar. It's a shame I only stayed for one night. It would have been nice to use the facilities.

Great for a break but not special occasion

It was meant to be a special getaway, I booked the suite for me and my girlfriend as I was proposing and asked for them to do something in the room but it never happened, the room was clean but loads of dust on the lamps, the room was spacious and great value and so was the food and drinks, for a weekend spa break it’s perfect but if you want anything more I wouldn’t recommend it as I was so excited to see my finances face bit to walk in to a normal suite. The ladies on reception did apologise but no good will gesture from the hotel for the mistake

Lovely quiet settings

Lovely setting, rooms a little tired, furniture worn, but clean. Spa showers are a joke, more water leaks from fittings than from the shower head. Bar area for bar food full /busy with golfers - so impossible to sit and eat here, but there is a main restaurant. Staff very friendly.

Property is dated and too expensive for what it is. No smart TV, no usb charging points, tired looking bathroom & spa area, decor out of the 90s. However the surrounding countryside views out towards the Chiltern Hills & Aylesbury Vale are stunning. The property was also impeccably clean
