Lovely cottage

The cottage was lovely. Spotlessly clean and in such a lovely village. Having the community shop and café on site is such a treat. The host is very nice. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the water pressure of the shower was excellent. We would absolutely stay here again.

The studio was clean and well-equipped. The enclosed garden area was nice and having the shop across the courtyard was helpful, especially as there was no welcome pack, (apart from a few tea and coffee sachets and one biscuit). The owners were friendly. We experienced some noise from the people upstairs, (outside the owners’ control, obviously). My main gripe was that the pictures clearly show that the sink and hob areas are clear underneath to allow a wheelchair to have access. However, these areas have been filled by fitted cupboards and didn’t seem to be removable. If I had booked on the strength of these pictures, I would have been disappointed. The pictures should be updated to help those needing wheelchair access to fully assess the property’s suitability.
