The breakfast was just a paper bag full of bagels and Jimmy dean sandwiches. They said they had a cafe but it wasn’t even unpacked or opened so couldn’t even go. Overall the service was great and we stayed in the “new building” which was nice and upgraded and very spacious.

I've thought about this since actually checking in. While it's a nice hotel and I mean that, the staff are also awesome it's actually the work that they did was really half ass. If someone that worked for my companies did the project management of the renovation that they did I'd fire them. The hotel in general is nice but you can see that ownership went for cheap and easy instead of trying to elevate their property to be the hotel in town instead of some fresh paint and some cheap lipstick. I say this as they did room reno's but forgot to add a ceiling lights so even with all the lights (one pot light and a double bedside reading light) the room is really dark, they choose to leave the org. shower diverters and tubs even though they did new tiles in the bathrooms and gave them all facelifts. Diverters from Moen are under a $100US and would have provide better water temp balancing, looks and the feeling that the ownership wasn't trying to cheap out. The fire doors aren't set properly at all and you can hear them close from a hall away so if you're beside one like I was ask to be moved to another room as it's none stop closing banging.The staff was excellent and this review isn't about them shouldn't reflect on them as the reception staff and cleaning staff were super friendly and knew their jobs. Seriously though, you guys need to hire proper management for your renovations as this was barely passible considering what you could have done with marginally more budget.

Dam view is awesome
Service was good, bed comfortable, interior wasn’t great /but not terrible.. exterior, especially the grounds antiquated, unkept, run down, looks as if owners aren’t paying attention to detail at all.. should be , could be a beautiful property considering location and view..CEO better put on a pair of jeans, roll up his or her sleeves and go work before he or she loses the opportunity..make a difference, start with this property..

The wall heater/ac was very old ( original) and very loud. We didn’t run it at night especially cuz it was too loud to sleep. Only had blinds and no curtains so was very light from the streetlights. Towels were paper thin. The bed was comfortable and room was clean.

Room was comfortable. Still needs some updates. Access was great, and was plenty of area to take the dog out. They need to update/repair the doors from outside to halls where rooms were. Some don't latch unless you manually pull them closed, so security could be iffy. Overall, it was an OK

The hotel itself was fine . No elevator and the rooms were a long way from the front desk . The restaurant staff was awesome ! The views were beautiful, the rooms were nice ! The staff at the front desk made me feel unwanted and belittled me . If we weren’t here on business and it was vacation I would be super sad they talked to me that way when I was paying my money to stay there !! Hateful ladies ! All of them !

This newly remodeled property was the perfect stopover for us as we traveled. The staff was pleasant, the dining room menu was varied and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The only thing that was mildly off putting was the C&W music which was too loud in the portico and foyer. I like country as much as the next person but the volume could come down a notch. Overall I’d give a 9.5 out of 10!

Didn’t like all the noisy door slams . You could hear everything . I wasn’t fond of the lock on the door and how you could see people walking by your room from the bottom of the door. But because your staff were great we would probably stay again maybe in a different area .
