Fairly central place to stay- Leiden doesnt have an obvious centre. Parking easy if you follow hoteld recommendation.

Good location

For me, the location was very convenient because it was at 3 min walk to the central train station. Because I was traveling alone, this hotel was a little expensive, however it is very nice.

Convenient Location and Good Staff

The hotel is new and close to station and restaurants. Room is decent and comfortable. The staff is friendly and customer oriented. The front desk staff found my friend lost credit card and reached out for us to collect. I must thank them here, I should book a higher room category which offers kettle as well.

2 night break - housekeeping standards below par.

Checked in late but left baggage with reception earlier in day. Woke up early morning to find stains on bedding from previous visitor which identified our bedding had not been changed. Requested at reception to have housekeeping change bedding in our room which was not honoured but bed re made. Management later that evening personally came upto room and swopped our bedding after I came down to complain. Lovely hotel, close to train station and all Leiden city centre facilities. Nice clean modern hotel with good range for breakfast. Excellent service from management/ some reception staff. Hotel appears to be set up mainly for business trips. Walls quite thin and can hear other talking and tv. Housekeeping let it down. Would stay again if one night stay and passing through Leiden.

Two minute walk to the train station, easy 20 minute train trip to Amsterdam. Leiden is a very walkable lovely city. Felt very safe and despite being in the middle of the city, it was super quiet since everyone in the Netherlands takes public transportation and rides bikes. Super comfortable bed and great shower.

I enjoyed my stay at Intercityhotel Leiden. The staff were very nice and helpful whenever I had questions. The rooms were relatively quiet from room to room but there was construction going on so that was noticeable during the day. There’s a lot of restaurants/shops in walking distance which was perfect. The front entrance is in a large alley with zero to minimal traffic making drop off/pick up and unloading luggage from our Uber very easy. The rooms were a decent size for 2 people with a lot of luggage. We unfortunately didn’t get a chance to try the breakfast since jet lag had us waking up after it ended but I’m glad it was an option if needed! I would definitely stay here again if visiting Leiden again.

The bed felt like a cloud. Stayed thru the weekend in a university town, and my floor and room were quiet and as a single female traveler, I felt the security and safety measures were appropriate, but not intrusive. Will definitely stay here again!
