Chambre propre mais, pas de chauffage dans la salle d’eau qui n’est donc pas très agréable le matin en sortant de la douche. Même chose dans la salle de restaurant. Même le patron vient nous servir avec son anorak et sans un sourire, dommage !

Campanile Saumur
Motel 3.5 km out of town. Big hill if bike riding. My room was on the carpark. All fine. Very clean. Won’t win any design awards but was a traditional nicely run motel. Nice staff.

The Originals City, Plume Hôtel
Travelling up through France from the south to the north coast this was a good overnight stop. Although there is no restaurant food can be delivered to the hotel and a restaurant is close by. A good continental breakfast is available. The beds are large and comfortable the staff very welcoming.
