This hotel is a beautiful old courthouse converted to a hotel. The room had a 12 foot ceiling which makes it feel very large. We also enjoyed expansive views of the harbor and Lake Superior. Parking was easy and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was limited and did not fully meet our expectations but otherwise we enjoyed a great stay in a unique hotel.

The hotel kindly refunded me for one night of a three night stay that became unnecessary when Air Canada returned to work. Obtaining the refund from the booking agent, Expedia, was very difficult and unpleasant.

Court House Hotel was a hidden gem on the hill in ThunderBay. Our room was spacious and welcoming. The staff were very courteous. There was even breakfast available the following morning when we checked out.

Interesting hotel in an old courthouse. Most features remain from previous use but floors very squeaky and shower pressure is virtually non existent. Didn’t stay for breakfast but it looked good. Staff were friendly although check in and out was slow.
