This is my second time staying there. First time experience was great. This time disappointing. First of all the curtain wouldnt close properly leaving like a 5 inch gap. It wasnt hooked properly at the top. Ceilings are like 12 feet high so couldnt reach to fix it. Reported it to the staff at the front desk. They both said Im sorry and they would let maintenance know in the morning. I offered to fix it if they had a small step ladder and they said no the room was locked for the night. I could tell this problem was there for a while by the rips in the curtain from other customers trying to close them tight. Sure enough at around 5 a.m daylight started pouring in through the open section. The air conditioning wasn't working in the room either. Was 76 degrees f in the room. I reported that too upon checkout and again got the I'm sorry from the staff again. For the cost I paid for the room and the uncomfortable sleep I got, the feedback reflects my displeasure on how staff handled my legit complaints.Would I stay again probably, but not in the same room.

I stayed at this propertyfor what should have been 3 nights. I ended up having an emergency and bringing my daughter to the hospital and having to leave after 2. Was told I would get a refund by the lady at the desk for the unused night. Upon checking clothes I realized I had forgot her clothes in a drawer. After calls and being told I would get a call back and no one calling I called again. I finally received confirmation they have her clothes. I said I would pay to have them shipped. Was told I would get an email. For 3 days they kept telling me I will get an email but havent received anything and they also refuse to refund the one night. I asked to speak to the manager or leave a message and was told no by the gentleman that answered the phone. I want my daughters clothing back. Some of those are brand new costing a few hundred dollars with special medical clothing due to her being disabled. I should also add I made 2 complaints about no air conditioning in the room working so it was 77 at least in our room the whole time. I contacted the corporate office and was told I had to deal with the hotel directly. You should be ashamed of how you treat disabled, emergencies, and overall customer service. I will not stay here.

Excellent redo of an old court house. The rooms are comfortable. Unfortunately the air conditioning was not working and the rooms were quite warm. The breakfast was acceptable. The area around the hotel is good as long as you stay by the waterfront.

Beautiful building. Rooms were modern and spacious. Washroom was a bit small but it was fine. Only complaint is that we were able to hear the guests from upstairs and the floors sqeaked when they moved around. And perhaps having an extra staff at front desk would be beneficial, staff was exceptional but she had too much to tend to. Overall a great experience, highly recommend!
