They did a great job renovating! A great balance of modern and historic. Beautiful touches. Quiet since it's a small hotel! We had a great view of Lake Superior! Breakfast was okay.

On Thursday, when we checked in, the staff was so kind. In fact, all staff members were amazing. The rooms are large, great view of the lake and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was very nice. I will definitely be back!

A beautiful historic building, fully renovated but preserving the majestic decor and charm. Thoroughly enjoyed our five night stay. Breakfast was very good. We had a rental car so we’re able to drive around the city. There didn’t appear to be restaurants or retail close to the hotel. Nearby streets didn’t look to be tourist friendly-a bit sketchy I would say.

Beautiful old Courthouse conversion. Efficient and friendly staff. Two block walk for plenty of dining options and waterfront park for walking after a drive into town. I would recommend staying here.

Beautiful building and nice big rooms. The beds were so comfy!! The only negative was the A/C didn’t work in our room. The thermostat was taped off with a note saying do not touch. Luckily there was a fan in the closet. And also the guests above us were doing laps in their room, it was very annoying!! If I were to stay there again i would request the top floor.

It is a nice old building, was clean and the staff were pleasent enough. There is no restaurant or vending machine. Room was clean but curtains were ripped and frayed. If you're a light sleeper it can be a little disruptive as you can hear other rooms around you. All in all not terrible but overpriced for what you get.
