My fiancée and I stayed on our way through town and it was a wonderful experience! The hotel is breath taking and the view of the lake is wonderful. Breakfast was filling and always been replenished by wonderful staff, I would definitely recommend. Only thing other reviews mentioned the sound proofing wasn’t the best and I agree we heard the room above us shuffle a bit but it wasn’t enough to bother us at all.

Property was lovely! Very pretty mix of old and new. Bed was comfy, room was quiet and breakfast was simple but everything you need (and coffee was actually good, a rare find for a continental breakfast!). We would definitely stay again.

I wanted to love my stay here as I remember touring this courthouse as a child on a school field trip. The staff was lovely and tried to be accommodating. The room itself had a few issues. Some stains on the white top bedding. The curtain had a huge rip down it. The air conditioning didn’t work. The building was beautiful and great proximity to restaurants and the waterfront. When we complained about the air after the second night, it was just a shrug and no offer to switch rooms. Just a comment that the air doesn’t work properly in all the rooms. The view was spectacular with the sleeping giant right out the window. Torn about this stay.
