Basic hotel not very appealing for the price

Pretty basic room nothing fancy for the price you pay and only hotel youpay for parking in the city the only difference is its near water i had no choice to say there since other places were booked and my flight was cancelled and west jet didn’t accommodate me it was this or sleep on a bench outside the airport

Hotel was clean, staff was professional and kind, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. If I had to say what I didn’t like it would probably be parking when underground or directly outside the hotel was at capacity, was a bit of a walk to get from their off site parking to the hotel. Also no stair access, was forced to wait 45 mins in lobby as maintenance worked to get the elevators fixed.

The Delta TB property is ok, but the reservation by Expedia was not. I paid Expedia for room "extras" including car parking and a gas card, but the staff at the reception had no information about these.

My Room was a wheelchair access room which was not asked for, the room was not serviced on my first day, the door into the room stuck so bad (Room 721) that you had to force it open, and train behind the hotel kept me up with all the noise

BEST CHOICE FOR A STAYCATION! I decided i needed to extend my road trip for a few days - and though i live here in Thunder bay - thought - try the delta again - and hang out on the marina. great decision. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay - the fish tacos i had for dinner were great. Staff were all welcoming.

The property is located right on the marina park waterfront. Central thunder bay, with easy ammenities like the anchor and ore resturant with complimentary jazz nights. Scenic waterfront views, and marina park events. Excellent food for price, always available staff at front desk. Some go out of their way to help with everything to ensure a comfortable stay. Fast response for most inquiries a guest may have. 10/10 fair priced for the view of thunder bay sleeping giant, marina park and the water front.

I was really excited to stay here but this location did not live up to previous experiences from Delta Marriot. Had no help bringing up my bags, absolutely no parking unless you wanted to walk down the street or a lot across the street which does not allow overnight parking. Upgraded my room to have access to the pantry on the top floor but that was such a failure compared to every other location. I wouldn't stay here again.
