Ripped carpet, cobwebs in the corners, mildew in the shower. I won’t use Expedia nonrefundable again. Just needed a quick night enroute. Not a good place to stop.

This property is old (30+ years) and needs some major upgrade. We found the room walls were marked and stained in many places and the carpet has seen better days. We found two syringes hidden in behind the bathroom mirror which we turned into the front desk. We stayed four nights and when we returned to the hotel on two of four evenings we found our room door was not fully closed (held open using the secondary security locking bar) after cleaning staff had been in, leaving our personal items unsecured. The first was reported to the front desk. Front desk staff seemed unconcerned or disengaged when approached. The breakfast facility is way too small for the size of the hotel with only a few tables available, forcing people to take items back to room or into the lobby. On the fourth night we had returned to the property and it appeared someone had thrown-up on the floor near the front entrance - it was still there the next morning when checking out. Overall a very disappointing impression of this property. I would not recommend this facility to anyone visiting Thunder Bay and we would not stay there again.

Hotel room and in particular the bathroom were not clean, no vent in bathroom, heat/air unit under an after thought cupboard making it hard to get to to control. Will never stay here again and would not recommend to anyone.

The rooms were filthy. My sister and I drove 13 hours and arrived here. We were moved to three seperate rooms which were all unclean with fecal matter and blood on the walls and bed frames and mattresses!!

It’s an old property that is dated. Everything felt like there is a minimum amount of upkeep to maintain the property. The HVAC was very old and noisy. The controls on the unit were very dirty.

Staff were extremely friendly, the room was falling apart, closet shelf and clothing rod was falling down, pretty bad water damage on the ceiling, and i could feel the springs in the mattress sticking up. Breakfast was pretty typical hotel spread, will most likely not be returning
