Reserved a king suite with a pullout couch. Pullout couch was broken, when I called the front desk they informed me that most of their pullout couches are broken. They provided me with a cot. Thankfully the rest of our group didn’t come, there wouldn’t have been enough sleeping space. We got to the pool and they were closing it down to adjust the chlorine levels, they had 3 birthday parties going on and people poolside waiting for the pool to reopen, approx 30/45 mins. The main pool is quite cold. Room temperature was also cold, with no option to adjust it.

Hotel did not have a reservation for us, even though I booked it about a week prior. They managed to find us a room but that made the check in a lot longer. The room had 2 sinks in the bathroom, one was completely clogged. The shower doors were off their hinges which made it difficult to take a shower & close the doors properly. A few different outlets didn’t work.

The heating control was inoperable in the room, and it was a pool side room so the window couldn’t open. The temp was like a sauna all night, complained to front desk and they gave us a box fan. All that did was recirculate the hot air around the room. The beds felt like they were older and needed to be swapped, they should probably get memory foam ones instead of coil spring ones.

Not the worst but not the best.
The check I’m staff were super friendly and very quick. The room was clean but the beds were very uncomfortable. The room was also very warm and we had no way to turn the heat down so it was uncomfortable all night.

Just go swimming.
The kids had a blast in the pool, played for hours ! But the drawing on the wall, the garbage under the bed, the marshmallow (hopefully) on the walls, the gunk on the door and the pizza crust that stayed in the stairwell from evening till check out the next day and beyond was kinda gross. Also the TV and outlets weren’t working ? They sent a housekeeper when I complained? I don’t think she’s qualified to deal with outlets. , and the guest wifi was out or choppy the entire stay.

I come to this property as often as I can when I’m through thunder Bay area. I prefer this. It’s got a nice parking lot. It’s got to good choice of dining and the prices comparable
