Clean hotel
Hotel was nice and convenient off interstate. Got there really late and the keys that were left with the night front desk gentleman were to a room already rented so we woke them up. The front desk attendant was very apologetic and got it straight quickly.

We reserved the room well in advance and when we got there, they had overbooked and didn’t have a place for us. There wasn’t another hotel room for 2 hours in any direction. We had been chopping up trees and cleaning up as volunteers after hurricane helene and could not have been more tired or in need of a shower. We sat down in the lobby to try and find other accommodations and listened as the hotel proceeded to give the next person an *extra* room because he was mad his room didn’t have two double beds. We don’t know where that room magically came from but it was so sad to us. We would have slept on the floor of any room just to have a place besides our car (packed full of equipment) to sleep.

“Too bad”
Due to hurricane storm in central Florida we decided to cancel our room with the hotel and Hotels.com and drive20 hours from Kansas City to the villages, Fl. After calling about our situation we were told “too bad”. No refund on room so was charged for full price. Very disappointed in response.

A good stop for our last night on the road!
The manager was hosting a gathering for guests as we entered, making the hotel feel warm and welcoming. Lots of good vibes! The desk staff were pleasant and very helpful. The breakfast choices were plentiful and the service people were chatty, warm, and welcoming. I'm not quite sure how this hotel has a 9+ rating as it is at the point of needing a makeover. But everything worked, the water was hot, and the beds comfy.
