We were a family of 3 and stayed in the bigger apartment. It was a wonderful, everything was brand new and clean, the pull out couch was made up for the night for my son, and we especially enjoyed the quiet, but yet very centrally located area in Riga. There are a few very good restaurants just around the corners from the aparthotel, better than the famed Milda Restaurant ( don’t waste your time going there). Overall, I would highly recommend booking a stay at the Carillon.

Incredibly accommodating staff, ver nice room, excellent location. Breakfast was amazing. If you are looking for a place to stay in Riga old town, this is the one.

Nice area, walking to downtown, big rooms, with decent kitchen, no TV, shower very tight you can pass from hot to cold water just by moving accidentally with your elbow. There is a bad odor coming from the water pipes in all the building (old installations).

There is a lot to love about this propert, so this is a difficult review to write. The service was warm, the location was convenient, and the spaces were clean and well-kept. The room was spacious and offered great amenities. Unfortunately, the hotel failed at the single most important purpose of booking a room: getting a night of sleep. The mattress was completely unusable for me as a side sleeper - it was intolerably firm. I spoke with the front desk to request a mattress topper, but they didn't have any, so they provided a single flat duvet laid across the mattress. Unsurprisingly, it provided zero support or cushioning, so I ended up sleeping on the sofa. Compounding that, the Wi-Fi was weak and inconsistent throughout the stay, making basic connectivity a chore. While the team’s friendliness is appreciated, a makeshift duvet does not substitute for a proper, supportive sleep setup. Until the mattresses are replaced (or proper toppers provided) and network coverage is improved, I cannot recommend staying here if sleep quality or reliable internet matters to you. Otherwise, every other aspect of the stay was exceptional.
