Poor customer service and property could be a little cleaner. The first encounter was with the check-in process they had a problem with finding our names in the system. After proof of reservation was provided, the staff states our name was entered backwards in the system and that this happens all the time. We requested washcloth and face towels because they did not have the correct amount in our room. After 45 mins we didn’t receive it, we called the front desk and they told us it was sent to the wrong room. We waited a little while longer but still no towels so we decided to go down and get them instead. When we opened the door we were surprised to see that they delivered our face towel and washcloth in front of our room door on the floor. When asked, they responded that this was normal process. I think that is unacceptable. We will be happy to take our business elsewhere.

Check in was easy and the lobby was attractive. Staff was courteous. Our room was very spacious but the bathroom was dirty, and the toilet had not been flushed after the last use. There was also an issue with humidity in the room and it was so muggy that the pillows and bedding felt moist to touch.

Holiday Inn tried to charge us $47.55 for one day’s breakfast, in addition to the breakfast we purchased at Expedia checkout. The front desk did correct the issue, but tried to explain the charge was for dinner. Nope. drinks in the bar? Nope… oh Breakfast? Well, how can that be when we purchased breakfast at booking? While the shower, sink and toilet and bed were clean, the tile’s grout was less than clean. The property was a bit above some hotels in terms of cleanliness, but I would not stay there again.
