Regina Bed & Breakfast was perfect for our stay in Tivoli. It is centrally located with most areas for shopping, dining and sightseeing within easy walking distance. There are plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from. Our thanks go to Filippo, the owner of the property. He was a great host, welcoming, friendly and very helpful. Chris & Christine.

Filipo the hotelier went out of his way to make our stay memorable. Before each of our 2 stays he confirmed our arrival times so he was there to greet us. He arrived for a driver to pick us up at the Roma airport. On our return from Pescara he had a taxi waiting for us when the bus stopped at the Tivoli train station. His restaurant recommendations were spot on and the reservation he made for us at the Sibilla restaurant last night spectacular dining at the far reaches of an outdoor patio under one of Hadrian’s villa Gregoriana ruins with the columns lighted by night.

Fantastic alternative to staying in Rome

Originally, we chose Tivoli so we could travel to Rome for 3 days via a 30-minute train ride. But after 1 day in Rome (Vatican tour, other sites) we decided to spend the rest of our time in Tivoli. It was so beautiful and peaceful. Some of the finest eating we've ever experienced, at a Michelin Star restaurant called Sibilla. An entire day roaming the ruins of Emperor Hadrian's villa in lower Tivoli. Just exquisite. And our accommodations provided by our host, Filippo, were outstanding! He was so kind and helpful. He provided breakfast each morning, made us reservations and discounts at local restaurants, even walked us to the laundry mat and bus stop. And our room looked out over the city's central square. We couldn't; imagine a better vacation.

The proprietor was extremely helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was tasty but almost too much to eat. The location was where you want to be in Tivoli in easy walking distance from the famous gardens. The only caveat would be for travelers challenged by stairs. It is two flights but Fillipo was very willing to help carry our bags up the stairs.

If you’re looking for old world charm and an authentic Italian experience, you’ll love Regina B&B. Its location, in the heart of TiVoli and on the piazza, is perfectly situated within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. The host is very friendly and accommodating. We really appreciated his hospitality. My favorite thing about the B&B was its rooftop patio. The view from the patio, as well as from our room, was beautiful. The sound of bells from 2 different churches was very soothing and pure Italian. He offered to make us a reservation at Sibilla, a beautiful and very famous restaurant. Regretfully, we couldn’t work it into our schedule. I hope to return someday. Maybe next year. Janet and Larry

Absolutely incredible stay! Filippo is the best host with great recommendations on food and where to go, and made sure I was set with absolutely everything (even walked me to the bus to make sure I got the right one for Villa Adriana). The property is beautiful and historic, and perfectly located to central Tivoli. It is in a popular piazza, which does mean it can be a little noisy, so bring some earplugs if you're a light sleeper and you'll be just fine! Short walk to Villa D'Este and Villa Gregoriana and amazing food and drink all around. I hope to come back and recommend to anyone staying in Tivoli. Grazie mille Filippo!

Walkable (but the 11 min walk from train station is difficult with heavy luggage due to steep uneven terrain and steps). Beautiful historic Italian rooms with lots of character and modern updated bathrooms. Host is very helpful.

We had a wonderful stay in a historic building right in the heart of Tivoli. The location is perfect - just a 5-minute walk to both Villa d’Este and Villa Gregoriana, and also close to covered paid parking. The room was very stylish, extremely comfortable, and clean, full of charm and history (ask Filippo for some great stories!). Breakfast was excellent - honestly, the best croissants I’ve ever had! The terrace offers a breathtaking view, especially at sunset. Our host Filippo made us feel incredibly welcome and quickly became a friend. He was so attentive to all guests, offering great restaurant recommendations (just a short walk away) and helping us plan our visit. A big thank you as well to his assistant Sara for her help with breakfast and room service, and a special thanks to Filippo’s wife for the delicious homemade cake she prepared for us. We truly felt at home here and will definitely return!

What a wonderful experience

We loved this place! It was recommended to us by an old friend. He said it was a must do so we did it! Our bedroom overlooked the Piazza. There was a wonderful rooftop terrace. The host and owner. Felipo met us every morning and took us to a café cappuccino and fresh juice and pastries. Clean clean, clean Filippo and his housekeeper Sarah were So inviting and helpful.

Seulement confort ! Ce lieu n"est absolument mais absolument pas pas un bed and breakfest c'est une arnaque cacher sur votre site et que je payer très couteux pour absolument rien ! Ce site est simplement une chambre plus pour loué mais confortable . Il y a un autre appartement avec des table et chaise mais le responsable insiste pour sortir d'aller prendre un café ou déjeuner a l'extérieur dans un bistro a 2minutes de appartement accompagné par lui ! Non c'est Non un peut intimement quand même ! Un Bed and breakfest c'est un lieu pour dormir et manger différent chose qui son offert sur place dans une cuisine salle a manger mais sans ce faire être achaler par le propriétaire qui est très accaparant. le matin aussi tôt que vous ouvrer votre porte de chambre il vous appel par votre prénom .

This was a fabulous stay. Fillipo gave great insights to incredible restaurants and local sites. He went with us to buy bus tickets and walked us to the proper bus stop! Lodging was large and very comfortable. Gorgeous building. Cannot recommend highly enough. It was not a hotel, but another sign said bed and breakfast, but there was no breakfast. Beautiful roof top sitting area!
