Central location with good access to most main Metro lines but long tunnels to walk through. Sento / bath is excellent and breakfast is good value. Rooms are small with standard bath / shower / toilet module only. Great sky view on 17th floor and just next to Hie shrine but no kombini nearby so need to walk to station or into Akasaka.

I enjoy my stay at the hotel. Room is reasonably spacious. Staffs are very friendly. Can easily access subway lines. Lots of eateries in the area.

Very good overall. In the Government area so very quiet. Staff speaks English. Very close to a subway station. But not a lot of restaurants around - need to walk at least 10 minutes. The towels were changed every day but the trash wasn’t emptied out. We had to ask for extra coffee capsules the second day. Out of all the places we stayed in Japan, this hotel was the only one which did not have a heated toilet seat nor a bidet with warm water :(

The property was far from activities that we wanted to do, but we took the nearby subway to various locations throughout the city. There were some dining options within a 10min walk from the hotel. The room was small and clean.

Great location, well presented and exceeds the price point. Get out on foot down into the cafe / restaurant precinct and lose yourselves in this streets, it’s a foodies delight. You can do 20,000 steps and still be only 10 minutes from the hotel.

It was my first time ever in Japan and the hotel staff were incredibly helpful and friendly My room was very clean and cleaned every three days The laundry facilities were efficient If I visit Japan again I will definitely stay at this APA hotel again it’s close to bars restaurants and subway lines I highly recommend this location because there were days that were very nice weather so I chose to walk to Shibuya, Shinjuku, Sumida river and other locations then I would take the subway back to the hotel which was less then a few minutes from the hotel

Practical and convenient stay

This hotel is in one the safest areas of Tokyo next to the PM residence. It's easy to get to most corners of Tokyo from this location but you should be prepared to do a lot of walking. The immediate area is very quiet with limited night life. The hotel serves a traditional Japanese style breakfast and the rooms are cleaned every other day and to a high standard. The beds are hard so if you value a good sleep without waking up with a bad back then this is your hotel. There was no safe in my room but there was a fridge, kettle and Starbucks pod coffee machine. Refills were provided on a daily basis for that and towels and other consumables by plastic bag hung on the door every day. The only caveat I could find is that breakfast was only served between 07:00-09:00. There is a nearby 7-11 in the basement of the adjacent hotel. Across the main road you'd give restaurants, subs izikaias and an Irish pub.

This review is for a 1 person, 1 bed business room. For a relatively cheap price, this hotel has almost everything one would need for a short stay in japan. The staff is friendly and speak english, a public onsen on the top floor, a microwave and ice machine, and a landromat. However the pillows are on the tougher side and the rooms are small so I'd recommend bringing your own pillow. The bathrooms are also compact but the ammenities they offer are really all you could need. Overall its a great budget hotel as long as you dont mind compact rooms.
