Everything about this hotel was great, except that the rooftop pool is “closed for the season”. Why? It had windows all around the pool and it looked to be in great condition. They also do not allow tattoos in the spa downstairs. This hotel seemed like mostly foreigners and most of us have tattoos. Why not allow them in the spa? Other than these things - great stay and great views from the room.

The cleaning staff was always very pleasant and helpful, the rooms were small but very comfortable. The restaurant had great service and the food was fresh and delicious. The location was probably the best thing about our stay and i will be staying in this hotel again

Hotel actually having 1000 plus rooms, but it operates like a well oiled machine. There are two subway stations in 5 min walking 1-2 stops away from major subway hubs.

I stayed here for 2 weeks. It was a great stay. 5mins walk from ryogoku station. Staff are friendly. Nice and cheap food options in the area. Hotel was absolutely immaculate. Small room with a great view of the city. Breakfast had loads of options, including english style breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

Superb staff who all readily available to help us with our needs. They were there to assist us find solutions to our inquiries. The presence of a convinient store on the second floor was definitely a perfect addition to the hotel. The price of staying has been very reasonable. The staff who kept our room tidy is very industrious. Me and my wife have able to travel to so many places in the world and stayed in all types of hotels so we are saying APA Hotel and Resort in Ryugoku deserved a rating of 5/5 stars. We will be back for sure. We were there for 10 days and we wanted to stay some. We are definitely going back again or try some other APA Hotels where we can find them and see if the services and organization will be comparable to that of APA Ryogoku which we think is the best. Thank you so much for everything.

A most excellent little stay
The room was small but very comfortable, the onsen was a refreshing and pleasant experience and the both the breakfast and dinner buffets were top notch in terms of food choices, quality and good service. I would stay here again if circumstances allow.
